The Diary Game - October 3, 2025 - My Trip to Murree: Mountains, Waterfalls & KFC Nights

Assalamu Alaikum, I hope everyone is well and enjoying their lives. Today is a very exciting day for me because I am leaving for Murree. We were planning to visit Murree for the last two days. Murree is a place where you can see some of the best views of nature. Green mountains are visible, different types of springs are seen flowing, and people from all over the world visit and enjoy themselves here.

We stayed in Islamabad for the night because we had reached Islamabad a day earlier. We had come to see Islamabad first so that we could leave for Murree early in the morning. Murree is located approximately 60 to 65 kilometers from Islamabad, so we woke up early and headed straight for Murree.

As soon as we entered the Murree area, we were welcomed by green mountains. Cool breezes were blowing. The weather was pleasant. Sometimes it happens that there are a lot of clouds and it is raining, due to which the road starts slipping. Therefore, traveling at that time becomes very difficult because there are ditches in the road around, so the journey becomes very dangerous. But today the weather was very pleasant. The sun was shining, and all kinds of views were seen.

The famous road of Murree is Mall Road, and all the hotels have been built there. You will see very good hotels here for the accommodation of the people. So we also first went to a famous hotel, 110 on Mall Road, so that we could book our room once, keep our luggage there, and then enjoy ourselves. So we went straight to their reception. After talking at the reception, we got a room for 6,000 per night where we kept our lug, etc.

We got this room for a very reasonable price because, standing on its terrace, we saw a very beautiful view. There are all the mountains behind it, and we can see the sun setting from here. Therefore, this room was also clean. A new hotel had just been built, and the view around it was also good, so it was very beneficial for us.

My uncle was also with me. He told us that we would rest here for some ti, me, and after resting, we would leave here and visit the Mall Road. We rested there for some time. Meanwhile, I heard a sound from outside. A gram seller was selling gram. I saw him through the window and ran downstairs, nd gave him a gram. These grams are very delicious. There are mixed types of gram. You can take any type you want.

We hadn't eaten anything yet, so to enjoy something light, I came here to give you these chickpeas and bought a few worth 200 rupees from here. After buying those chickpeas, I came back to the hotel, and the three of us sat down and enjoyed ourselves. We turned on the television, put on a movie, and enjoyed that too.

When we came to the reception to get this room, they told us we could enjoy a great view by standing on the terrace. There are also chairs there where you can sit and enjoy, drink tea, etc. So we thought that we would visit the terrace to see the surrounding environment and the weather.

As soon as we reached the terrace, we were amazed to see such a beautiful view of the mountains and people sitting on top of the mountains, who were at the very bottom, and we were much higher than them. Cool winds were blowing, which was a sight to behold in a cold season. This place is very beautiful for drinking tea, taking photographs, or enjoying the cool breeze. You get fresh air, and sitting here makes you feel very calm.

There are many famous points in Murree where people come to visit, such as Patra Atta, Nathia Gaddi, Ayubiya Gaddi, and such things. The most famous road here is the Mall Road, where you can find all the things for eating, drinking, and shopping. It is also built on top of the mountains. Sometimes they go up, sometimes they go down. Similarly, a Qawwali night has been created around it.

Mall Road is a famous road in Murree, and there is only one long road on which we can see all the brands. We also went to visit it because in this way, firstly, we will walk and secondly, we will visit it all. On the way, we took photographs at many places. Some such places were made where we can sit and breathe because we often get tired while climbing and descending. It is very good for the elderly. Moreover, the government has started transport here, which allows you to visit the entire road at a reasonable fare.

On the other side of this Mall Road, there is an Army Point, and there is an Army check post there. They look after all the control here. They have also built the road and their area in a very good way. All the historical monuments are on the walls, and the surrounding environment is excellent.

From the end point of the Mall Road, we turned back again because we had come back and wanted to sit somewhere and have some tea, so we were still on the way when we saw a massage center on the way. Since we had walked quite a long way, we had also traveled quite a bit in the car. Because we were very tired, we saw this massage center where chairs have been installed, and when we sit on these chairs, our whole body gets massaged, so it will easily remove our fatigue, so we also stopped there.

We paid them Rs 250 per head, and for five minutes, they made us sit on the massager seat and massaged our entire body, which made us feel very relaxed. All our fatigue would go aw, ay, and we would become energetic once again.

This is a mountainous area, and here we mostly see cold weather. Weatherweather I.t is hot around here, so the weather here is moderate. We feel cold, but in the winter season, it snows here, due to which it becomes very difficult to live here. Tourists come here mostly for enjoyment, so we also started feeling a little cold, so we stopped at Quetta Restaurant to enjoy coffee there.

We ordered three cups, one cup cost 150 rupees, we got three cups for 450 rupees, and after about 10 to 15 minutes, they delivered it to sus, nd we enjoyed its aroma. It is a very good iitemespecially in the cold season. Pathans and Pashtuns like it very much.

We had just visited Mar Road. It was getting late. We went to our room. We rested there for a while. After resting, we thought that if we want to have dinner, the best items here are fast food because all the good brands are here. So we left our room and went straight to KFC. As you know, KFC is famous for its fast food in Pakistan and other countries as well.

Since we were three people, we ordered a deal for three people. In this deal, we were supposed to get two finger chips, three chicken pieces, three singer burgers, three ice creams, and three cold drinks. So we ordered that. We got the order number, got our table number, sat down there, and after about five to 10 minutes, they delivered the order, and for dinner, we enjoyed their KFC fast food.

We had already visited Patra Atta, Nathia Street, and Ayubiya Street. We had not visited Mar Road very well. So today we visited the entire Mall Road. We will keep the next day for shopping. That's all we were waiting for. Now we are going back to our room and will rest there. Thank you all very much for staying here.
