I want to share my activities today, which happened on the 4^th of June, 2026, and the only way I can do this is through this contest organized in this community.

_{On the road}

The call of prayer woke me up at exactly 5:17 am. I usually check my Steemit account to see new things. I brushed my teeth and performed ablution, then headed to the mosque to pray in congregation. After all this, I trekked to the road and boarded a commercial tricycle to my place of work because that place is not walkable and is very far.

As I dropped from the tricycle, I entered through the school gate. I chatted with everyone, and we laughed away our sorrows. When it's time for Zuhr prayer, I trekked to the masjid to perform solah. On my way back, I saw these ixora flowering plants; they look beautiful in my eyes, and the red color is vibrant due to the rain that fell on the flowering plants.

In the same place, I saw an old man who is a gardener, where he was interplanting pawpaw so that it can have enough space and sell to his customers. In the garden, we talked a lot, and from there he sighted some mangoes on the tree. I climbed the tree and was so surprised to see this big one.

_{I continued my walkable journey}

When I closed for the day, I trekked to my friend's shop, which is doing laundry, in order to collect my clothes that I had kept there for about two days. When I reached there, I saw him, and he was busy ironing his customers' clothes. I told him to quickly iron my own clothes, but he refused because he was helping me with that, and I thanked him for the opportunity. I left the place and greeted one of his neighbours, who gave me a gift for just concluded Eid Mubarak.

As I continued trekking, I passed an area where the mini bridge, made with planks that were constructed for pedestrians, collapsed, due to heavy rain that fall around April of this year, so everyone passed another area covered with wood. I saw a stream flowing with a pleasant sound, as if it was lively, which prevents anything from causing distraction while walking peacefully.

I like the surroundings I am seeing here because everyone looks natural, and I appreciate what God has blessed human beings with on earth, so we can make good use of them. The grass in this surrounding is not easy to dry even after the rainy season. I always cherish the place where residents enjoy fresh air because their houses are situated nearby.

When I reached some place, I saw different varieties of fruit because I needed multivitamins. I asked the seller the price of watermelon, which starts from 200 to 500 naira, and I exclaimed, "Wow!" The reason I did that is that the prices are so expensive, but I later bought it from him and left the place to continue my own business. When I reached home, I ate the biscuits I bought from a roadside shop, and after that, I decided to write about my activities today. I hope you will find it interesting.
