SLC28-W2 // "Jali Kebab
Greetings and welcome to my blog again. I am glad to be a part of this beautiful challenge this season. Thank you for another time to explore in the kitchen with different taste across the globe. Find below my work for the week.
Have you ever made Jali Kebab for a festive occasion at your home?
I have seen different types of kebab and by virtue of my engagement on steemit, I have participated in a challenge in the past that had to do with making kebabs and that was my first time of making a kebab at home but it wasn’t for a festive season.
At another time too I have had to make a kebab still on steemit on another occasion and for each of these times, there was different ways to make the kebab but this time around, having to make Jali kebbab was a different from the one I had made in the past. So in all, I haven’t made a Jali kebab before now and this engagement in this challenge is my first time of making Jali kebab.
Well, since I have learnt this, the festive season is around the corner, my knowledge would definitely come into handy in using Jali kebab as one of the beautiful dainties that would grace our feasting table this season.
Prepare the Jali Kebab recipe step by step and describe the detailed procedure with pictures. Must use your own pictures.
Well, I had a good time preparing Jali kebab and this is my step by step procedure and ingredients used. I didn’t have enough money in
my hands so I had to reduce the quantity of the ingredients by half so that I could be able to afford to buy them in small quantities participate in the challenge.

Procedure
To make my Jali kebab, I washed the meat first in water and drained it. Then I proceeded to mince it. There was no power as of the time I was making this so there was no way I could blend the meat so I decided to use the Mortar and pistle to pound the meat which I did until it was minced. I Then soaked a loaf of bread in water, squeezed off the water and then mixed it to the meat.

I then preceded to mold the Kebebs in small circles. I rubbed them in the bread crumbs and then broke the egg. Put the egg around the crust and fried in oil. Did you face any problems while making the Jali Kebab recipe?
Making my Jali kebab was a beautiful experience as I followed the procedure taught by the teacher. The only problem I faces was trying to mince the meat with the mortal and pistle. It was a little tedious and if I had the opportunity to blend the meat, it would have been a little easier but every other thing was smooth and easy to make and I enjoyed the process of making it.
Above all, the kebab was very spicy and sweet and I loved that I was able to pass through the process. I also shared my kebab with my friend over here and she loved it. Now I can make Jali kebab comfortably at home. This is my sweet experience with the challenge and I hope you like my work.
