Make the recipe mentioned above and describe the detailed method with pictures.

First I must say that I was taken aback when I was this recipe. Well, I hadn’t make something like that in the past so I was looking forward to seeing how it’s going to turn out. I had to go to the market to get the ingredients required.

I was able to come up with something good with the Much ingredients I could get my hands on. So let’s dig in.

IngredientsIMG_3427.jpeg
Ingredientsquantity
RiceOne cup
Liquid milk1 kg
SugarTo taste
Grated coconutOne cup
Bayleaves4 small leaves
DatesA small amount
Raisins1/3 cup
SaltTo taste

Procedure

I started by washing my rice in water and then I soaked it for sometime to soften and then I sieved it dry.

I washed the raisins and grated the coconut and kept aside.

I proceeded to pour the milk into the pot and allowed it to boil. I then added the rice into the pot. I noticed a sweet aroma from the boiling of the milk and the rice together.

I proceeded to add salt to the rice, the required amount to taste and also added sugar to the mixture and stirred.

I then added the other condiments which included the grated coconut shreds, the raisins and bay leaves and allowed to cooked more.

Soonest my piase was ready and I added coconut shred and dates pieces as garnishing in place of almonds.

Who in your family would you like to share the recipe with?

IMG_3445.jpeg

This is my first time to make and eat a paise recipe and of course I didn’t eat it alone. I shared the recipe with my sister. At first she was like what is this?

So I went ahead to explain to her about the Paise recipe and when she heard I used milk to make it, she jumped right into it and started eating it. She’s a milk freak and anything with milk goes for her.

She really enjoyed it and ate almost everything leaving little for Me. So I ate the remaining one. It was a good dessert to try and it came timely as we just finished having lunch hence it was a dessert indeed eating at the right time too. We enjoyed it. It was delicious and my sister loved it very much.

You are having trouble finding an ingredient for a recipe. Create a price list of recipe ingredients (prices in your local currency and in steem)

The only ingredients I had trouble finding was almond nuts so I had to Repalce it with dates. I washed the dates, removed the Pitts and cut it into small pieces for the garnishing just as I would have done with the almonds and it came out great too.

This is the price of the ingredients in my local currency and steem.

the Paise recipe you made looks mouth-watering! Especially the idea of garnishing with dates and grated coconut instead of almonds was great. I'm so happy to hear that your sister, who is a milk freak, loved the Paise you made so much. The price list of all ingredients in Nigerian currency was very informative.

Thanks sis. Yea, we loved it

¡Holaaa amiga!🤗
