I am writing a review for a pharmacy located in Haq Super Market, just south of the Rangpur Zilla Market. Known for its pleasant environment and excellent customer-oriented service, this pharmacy has been reliably serving the community for a long time.
Experienced salespeople accurately read doctor's prescriptions and explain the medications clearly. They explicitly inform patients about the rules of intake, dosage, and whether the medicine should be taken before or after meals—which is crucial for the patient.
The pharmacy provides blood pressure, diabetes, and weight measurement services at a minimal cost or for free. For minor health issues like mild fever, headache, gastric problems, or minor cuts, they provide the correct over-the-counter medicine or first aid without a prescription, which is incredibly helpful for a patient in an emergency.
The pharmacy remains open from 8:00 AM to 2:00 AM and offers home delivery services for emergencies. They stock essential medications such as antibiotics, heart medications, insulin, and asthma inhalers (which are stored at specific temperatures, especially in refrigerators), as well as paracetamol, gastric medications, ORSaline, cough syrups, vitamin supplements, calcium, and iron. Additionally, they offer a 5% to 10% discount to regular customers, along with membership card benefits.
Since procedures like treating minor cuts, dressing wounds, and administering injections are frequently performed here, the area is kept continuously sterilized. The floors and counters of the pharmacy are cleaned with antiseptic liquids every 1 to 2 hours.
The pharmacy is equipped with bright and adequate fluorescent lighting. Specifically, focused lights are installed over the dressing table and injection areas to ensure that doctors or pharmacists can work without any difficulty.
Furthermore, insulin, vaccines, and many critical life-saving injections must be stored at specific temperatures; therefore, this zone is fully air-conditioned. Generally, the rush of patients' relatives increases in this emergency zone during the evening or late at night when other regular pharmacies close down. At other times, the authorities keep the area crowd-free.
Finally, life-saving medicines are organized within arm's reach so that not a single second is wasted searching for them.
"I went there for emergency services. They approached me with extremely polite behavior and asked how they could assist me, which I found deeply impressive. The experienced pharmacist took my prescription, explained the medications, and clearly showed me the dosage instructions. Moreover, the prices of the medicines were fair and reasonable.
However, I feel that the customer service in the emergency care zone could be slightly improved. At times, a crowd builds up with people rushing to get their medicine quickly. Having a few more pharmacists on duty would easily prevent this issue.
