INGRATITUDE - A killer of God's Blessings

Ingratitude shows lack of regard or appreciation for a kind gesture bestowed upon you.
In your relationship with God, there some ways he shows that he loves you. But how do you react, when things go wrong in your life. Do you blaspheme him and forget his goodnesses.
I'll be making my references from the Bible.
Let's read.
Psalms 78:41 Yea, they turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel.

HOW CAN WE LIMIT THE BLESSINGS OF GOD?

1. FORGETFULNESS AND INGRATITUDE: How many believers are aware that it is not sin alone that can limit the power of God? What did God hold against the children of Israel?
Psalms 78:42 They remembered not his hand, nor the day when he delivered them from the enemy. They forgot where God picked them from? Believers today easily forget how God helped them yesterday just because of what they are going through today, their faith in God fails. Just because prayers are not answered, we easily forget that God had answered our prayers before now.

When we are not grateful to God for everything whether it is good, bad or ugly, we are limiting the power of God in our lives.
1 Thessalonians 5:18
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

1. MURMURING: The children of Israel were very good at murmuring. Numbers 14:2
   And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron: and the whole congregation said unto them, Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt! or would God we had died in this wilderness! God destroyed that generation because of murmuring. People of God, that murmuring about the Pastor, Elder, women leader, the church, God hears them.

Today, the message is that those murmuring limits the power of God in the church and in the life of a believer. God searches the heart and listens to the voice of our minds.
1 Corinthians 10:10
Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.
Philippians 2:14
Do all things without murmurings and disputings:

1. SIN: Sin limits the workability and manifestation of the power of God in the church and in people's lives. Isaiah 59:1-2 Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:
   But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

Limiting God is all about his power not finding expression in our lives like it should be. Between our anticipated desires to see the manifestation of his power and the reality, the difference that exists is the function of our collective actions and inactions.
