The Diary Game 17,03, 2026 Beautiful moments of visiting the historic 201-domed mosque with a friend
ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُالله وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
Hello Everyone I Am @ashike10 👳♀️ From Bangladesh 🇧🇩
| Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. Hello friends, how are you all? I hope you all are doing well. By the endless mercy of Allah, I am very well. Today I want to share with you my visit a few days ago to a historic mosque known in our Tangail as the 201 Dome Mosque. I went to visit this mosque and in this light, I will share some memories, Insha’Allah. So let's start without further delay. |

Last year, I led Taraweeh prayers in a mosque, but this year, due to getting a job, I could not lead Taraweeh in that mosque. So, instead, I sent a friend of mine from Dhaka to that mosque to lead the Taraweeh prayers. He led Taraweeh for a long month. Since he lives in Dhaka, he does not come to our Tangail very often. For that reason, he requested me to take him to visit some historic places in Tangail. Since he is a friend, I could not refuse his request. So, during Ramadan, while he was fasting, I took him to visit the historic 24 Mosque.
So at one point, we went to the 201-domed mosque by motorcycle, and we went up to the roof of the mosque. From the roof, the view of the mosque looked very beautiful. We enjoyed that beautiful moment and captured it with our camera. This mosque has 201 domes. All the brass and tiles used in this mosque are not domestic; they were all imported from abroad, which has further enhanced the beauty of the mosque.
The historic mosque of Tangail
After enjoying the beauty of the domes, next to the mosque, there were many unfinished domes that remained incomplete. These domes have generally been like this for about three years; no work has been done on them. As far as I know, one of the purposes of these domes is to build a much taller minaret than that of a mosque. Here there are 30 to 40 small domes, all of which together will form a very tall minaret.
And right next to this dome, there is a cemetery in the form of a white wall which is allocated for the family of this mosque committee. Here is the grave of his father, and a space has been reserved for the person who built this mosque to be buried. When he passes away, he will be buried in this grave.
Installation of the tomb
And next to this mosque, the building you see is an old age home. Many elderly people live here. The most surprising thing is that the elderly here are not from poor families; they are the parents of wealthy families. And the most unfortunate thing is that there is no one to take care of the residents here. The mosque committee provides them with two meals a day, and they survive. In many old age homes, it is seen that those who are sent here pay 30,000 to 40,000 taka for their care, but only 10,000 taka is used at home to care for them. They consider this work a burden; for the wealthy, it is seen as a great responsibility.

| I have a request to everyone: those who raised you with so much affection and love when you were little, nurturing you – do not send them to a nursing home. |

So, this is my statement, friends. I am ending my story here for today. I will come again with a new story at some other time, Insha'Allah. So, everyone tell me, how did you like my story?
Best Regards - @ashik10
