My Beauty Baby😍
My Lexus car is my beauty baby. In my country Nigeria, a young woman owning a car is a very big deal. In fact most people would assume my father bought it for me or my boyfriend did. Some may even assume I prostituted around to be able to afford. Yes, that’s how big deal it is for a young woman to own a car in Nigeria. As stated in my introduction earlier, I’m currently 26. Although I got my car when I was 25. I achieved it through freelancing remote jobs from different platforms and also majoring as a remote job coach for a while. I love my car a lot and I pamper it as a mother would pamper her child. I feel a pinch of emotions any time I mistakenly drive into a pothole. It makes me feel as though I just injured or stressed my car lol 😂. I also don’t like driving my car around bad roads, that’s just how much I pamper my car. My car is my beauty baby. It’s white, very girly looking and so beautiful. Some days I just stand over my window and gush over it with smiles on my face. Like that is my investment right there!. My achievement. Yes, car is an achievement. If you can afford it please do because it saves you a lot of stress.
Using public transport is very stressful, especially in Nigeria where drivers would bundle four persons in a space met for only two persons. They don’t even care how inconvenient it is for the passengers. They’re just after making money which is very inconsiderate. Sadly, there’s nothing we can do about it because it didn’t start today nor would it end tomorrow. My car is one of the things I’d say I’m very proud to have purchased because it has really reduced a lot of stress from my life. Although sometimes it can be financially draining when you have an accident and have to replace broken parts. This is the major disadvantage I have with car. Hopefully, I’m able to earn as much as I can so I’m able to afford every unplanned car bills. By the way, Lexus is a luxury but cheaply maintainable car. There’s often a misconception that Lexus is a high maintenance car, burns a lot of fuel etc. I can confirm that it’s not very true because I use a full tank for over a month, although I rarely go out but I can assure you it doesn’t consume as much fuel as people think.
Thank you for reading. See you on my next post.
