This morning as I was relaxing. I look outside and saw that our shawasha tree which we planted last year as yield fruit. There was one ripe shawarma and one small unripe shawarma still hanging on the branch. I plugged the ripe one and I even take a video to show how the fruit looks like. The ripe one which I pluck today sweet very well.

I wash it and use a knife to cut into smaller quantities or sizes and share with my family members to enjoy too. The taste of this fruit is really a combination of sweet and sour. The juice was just rush like water on my hand and fingers. This fruit is not common at the market, so anytime I eat the fruit, I always feel like I'm enjoying onr secret treasure.

One thing many people don't know is that the seed of shawasha can be dry and grind to use as spice. Old people do use it to cook native soup, it's give a food a strong delicious aroma. Another secret is that the leaf can be boil as green tea, it clears the chest and makes the body light.

For health Issues ,shawasha fruit has a lot of benefit:

  • It has vitamin C that help to boost immune system.

  • The fiber can help in digestion, it makes the stomach not to be heavy.

  • Antioxidants inside this fruit can fight body stress and keep the skin fresh.

  • It also help to reduce sugar level for our blood.

  • The juice can cool our body and quench our taste especially in this dry season we are heading to.

Shawasha is not just a common fruit, it's a small blessing which I'm proud it grows on my varenda.
