SLC-S29/W3-Mind & Learn : The Psychology Journey "Anger Control"
Task 01 Describe your techniques for controlling anger and emotions. What is your reaction in that moment when you get excessively angry?
My main technique is the Pause and Pivot when I am very emotional. When I get a rush of anger, I physically make a five-second reset: I cease talking and do a deep diaphragmatic breath and short-term dissociate myself with the trigger. This leaves an obligatory distance between the impulse and the action.
My first response to anger that is out of control is to note that it is not a command but a signal. I instead of responding outwardly, but I work on stabilizing myself by realizing one physical feeling, such as my feet on the ground, to slow down my heart rate. After the physiological "heat" is passed I tackle the problem with I statements to state my needs without being escalative.
Task 02 Perform a progressive muscle relaxation exercise, record a video, and write in detail how effective it is for you.
Task 03 There will be a short story, read the story and express your own thoughts.
The fact that the family of Mr. Dipak is a tragedy is a shiverspoking reminder that success in appearance may be broken by internal ruins. Mr. The main error that dipak made was his failure to deal with his insecurities and instead he transferred his frustrations onto his family and resorted to displaced aggression. This cycle of trauma caused by his bad habits continued to be practiced by his children, which demonstrated that the behavior of a father is the model of his children to follow.
What should have happened?
- Responsibility: Mr. Dipak would have consulted a professional counseling consultant over his insecurities instead of treating his family like a punching bag.
Intervention: The wife, being a victim, should have sought a support system or legal intervention earlier in order to get out of the increasing pattern of domestic violence.
After all, his ideal life was an illusion that collapsed due to his preferences of his own image to his inner sense of right and wrong.
Task 04 Create an infographic on the five steps of anger control.
Anger control does not imply the denial of anger rather it is having it under control before it spirals to the level of blow-up. When designing an infographic, you will necessarily need to make the text clean and the graphics very straightforward.
