It was indeed a merry Christmas, filled with celebrations, from the church to sharing with family and friends. I visited a fellow Steemian @annydee01 to share the Christmas love with her family. She and her husband @dedejur made it a memorable one after our church service. This is how it went.

From Christmas eve, the atmosphere had changed, while streets were becoming empty hours to hours, markets were filled up. There were many demands on chicken, meat, rice and other condiments. This has been the tradition especially amongst the Christian communities. The roadsides were decorated with temporary points of sales.

The Birth of Jesus heralds the story of salvation, good news and joy to the world. My family was not left out, but first of all, Christmas service before we could think of eating. The time service was 8am, many turned up, some had traveled while others decided to cook, waiting for the merry time later in the day.

Our service was short; we sang carols, exhortation and prayers before we dismissed about 9:30am. We got home and were greeted with some gifts, calls, bank credit alerts and text messages celebrating together the joy of the yuletide season.

The fun of it all was when @annydee01 and her husband @dedejur drove and picked us to their beautiful home to share as Steemians and family together. Delicacies we serviced in turns. Firstly, the mountainous fufu and our native afang soup, filled with obstacles (in a way you can't find space to dip the molded fufu balls), both aquarium and terrestrial in their edible and chewing State completely occupied the plate of soup from top to bottom. You could only excuse them into your mural cavity to find your way and do justice to the stirring fufu inside the flat plate on the table.

When we finally demolished and leveled the mountainous fufu and cleared the barriers in the plate into the belly sac, natural juice was prepared to drive everything down. While we sat together to gist and sipped the juice from the glass, there was another aromatic and irresistible smelling coming out from the power house, controlled by the woman of the house. About 3pm, it was done, and the table was set again, this time quality Nigerian jollof rice, telling that it's a Christmas of figgy pudding. After being magnanimously entertained with such sumptuous meals, we could affirm that @annydee01 is a connoisseur of all delicacies because the proof of the pudding is in the eating, while the husband is a good entertainer by all standards with his good life. We had a family, with others who visited much.

Evening met us there, before we left at about 5pm to go to Ifiayong to visit our grandma and shared our little Christmas love and gift with her and others. Although i went late, i met some friends in the field after final whistle of the community novalty football match to keep the community alive and entertained in this Christmas. I spent time in tje field, exchanging pleasantries with long time friends who returned home to celebrate with their families.

After my time with grandma, she didn't let us go empty, a bunch of plantain accompanied us home where we went home and shared with our neighbours off camera.

The pain of the night was sleeping without electricity. After having such a day, one should lie down enjoying a fan or AC to stabilize the system and enjoy the rest of the night with golden memories of the previous day.

Indeed, it was a Christmas of love, joy, happiness and the good news of Christ made plain for our salvation..

Love Jesus has he loves you. Share the love with one another. Don't worry much about what to eat and wear in this season, Jesus os enough
