Greetings wonderful steemians, today I will be sharing my diary with everyone, on how I spent my day at work today.

Another day has come and i was happy to wake up and prepare for work at the barbing salon. Every day at the salon gives me another opportunity to learn something new and improve my skills. After getting ready i headed to the salon and began my day by cleaning the working area and arranging the tools we would need. I strongly believe that keeping the salon clean and organized is very important because it makes the environment comfortable for both the barbers and customers.

I made sure that i do what is right before my boss even says it, when me and my friend chiagozie came in the morning, we went to the nearest water point close to our shop, and fetch water so we can use it and mub our shop and keep everywhere clean, we normally help our boss with some of his activities, because my mum always tells me that i should be loyal to my superior at all time, and if I want to be more than his position later in life I should always give him the respect he deserves as my boss.

As time goes on, customers started coming in for their haircuts. I watched carefully and assisted where i could, paying attention to how different hairstyles were made. Working in the salon has taught me that patience, concentration, cleanliness and good communication are important qualities to have. Sometimes the work can be tiring, especially when there are many customers, but it is also enjoyable because every haircut is another chance to gain experience.

By the end of the day, I was tired but satisfied with what I had learned. I cleaned the salon again, arranged the equipment properly, and made sure everything was ready for the next working day. Looking back at my day, I realized that every ordinary day at work can teach us something valuable. For me, working in the barbing salon is not just about cutting hair; it is also about learning a useful skill, becoming more responsible, and preparing myself for the future.

Sometimes I feel very tired that I wished my parents didn't registered me for it, but thinking the other way round it's very good and beneficial because when I enter the university by the grace of God I will have a hand work for myself.

Every single day i spend 12 hours at work, go by 8 am early in the morning and comes back home by 7pm in the evening, I thank God for the strength given to me 🙏.
