The Diary Game: [21/06/2026] Evening Vibes
I hope you enjoy
Later today I’m heading to an event that I’ve been looking forward to all week. It starts in the evening, so I’ve got a bit of time to get ready and clear my head before going. I’m planning to stop by on my way and grab a takeaway of fried rice and chicken. There’s something about that combo that just hits right, especially when you’re in a rush but still want something satisfying. I’ll probably eat a bit before I go in, just so I’m not distracted by hunger while everything’s going on. The event itself should be lively, with a lot of people I haven’t seen in a while, so I’m trying to be in the right mood for it.
After the event winds down, I’m thinking of swinging by a bar for a drink. Not looking to make it a late night, just enough to unwind and chat with whoever’s still around. A cold drink in that kind of setting always feels different, more relaxed, like the pressure of the day is finally off. I haven’t decided what I’ll go for yet, but I’ll figure it out once I get there and see what feels right. It’ll be a good way to shift from the formal vibe of the event to something more casual.
Once that’s done, I’m heading over to my friend’s place. He’s been teasing me about his new phone for days, and I finally get to see it in person tonight. It’s the iPhone 17 Pro Max, and from the videos I’ve seen online, the camera and speed are insane. I’m curious to hold it, test the camera, and see how the display actually feels compared to the older models. We’ll probably spend a bit of time going through the features, comparing notes, and just messing around with it.
When I finally get home, I’ll settle down with my night food: spaghetti and chicken with a cold malt to wash it down. It’s simple, but it’s my go-to when I want something filling without overthinking it. By then I’ll be tired, so I’ll eat, wind down, and call it a day. It’s been a full day, but a good one, with the right mix of going out and coming back to something comfortable.

My brother is an iPhone fan. He recently got an iPhone 17. I don't share his enthusiasm.
