Enjoy my new Steem content! Fun with friends amidst heavy snow
Kashmir Valley is considered to be a paradise on earth, and every season here is beautiful and has its own charm. The valley carries different kinds of glamour and beautiful reflections in every season, and one can hardly compare the beauty it presents throughout the year because it always looks equally mesmerizing.
The winter season has its own charm and vibe. When it snows, the whole valley turns into a white paradise. It is one of my favourite times of the year. Leaving apart the greenery, serenity, and beauty of other seasons, this white snow creates a completely different atmosphere altogether. It actually turns the whole valley into a closed setup where everything slows down and people have very little to do. Everyone enjoys the snow in their own unique way. Some go for slides, some gather together and throw snow at each other.
A year ago, when heavy snowfall covered the valley, my friends and I had a wonderful time playing in the snow, throwing snowballs at each other without even worrying about falling down the hill or getting hurt, because the thick layer of snow provides good insulation and protection. That is what makes this season so enjoyable, as such fears remain at bay.
It is truly a beautiful season filled with fun activities, and it is something many people across the world rarely get to experience because they live in places where such weather does not exist. Through this post, I wanted to give everyone who has never seen snow an opportunity to imagine how beautiful and enjoyable it feels to play in it.
I have also attached a video that I recorded during the evening snowfall, showing the thick layer of snow that had already accumulated while heavy snowfall was still continuing. I tried to capture the beauty of that magical moment.
