The Diary Game||Date:25-01-2026|| Fun in the office with new colleagues

Today started in the most beautiful way. I didn’t really sleep early as I had planned last night because I was watching movies. I have never really been the type who enjoys watching very long movies, but somehow I found myself watching a movie series that got me so captivated. That was the same reason I didn’t sleep early last night.
Today, I went to the office very early in the morning. The first thing I did was study some of the notes I had acquired from my online classes. Shortly after that, I was called by my colleagues, who informed me that there were seven new people our organization had added to join us. Somehow, I couldn’t contain my happiness. I was so filled with joy that I couldn’t even concentrate on my studies.

So, I decided to leave my study desk and go downstairs. As I got downstairs, I went straight to where my colleagues were. When I got there, some of my friends had already joined them, and they were all joking and discussing. All I did was draw a chair and sat down behind the big long table in the midst of everyone. I joined the conversation, and gradually we all started getting to know each other.
The conversation became more lively, and at the moment it started dying down, I thought of checking the news to see what was going on around the world. That was when I saw the large number of protesters on the streets and roads in Iran. They were very many, and it was clear that this was not propaganda.

After watching the news for some time, I decided to watch some of the new movies I had downloaded. Some of my new colleagues who had just joined us decided to watch the movie with me. We didn’t really have much to do in the office that day, and those who had been assigned to go to the site had already gone, so I allowed the movie to continue so everyone could enjoy themselves, at least for a start.
We really had a great time watching the movie together. Some of the scenes in the movie created room for new topics of discussion, and sometimes we even had to pause the movie until we had done justice to the topic being discussed. As we resumed watching, an actress appeared in the movie, and one of the ladies among us commented that the actress had undergone plastic surgery for butt enlargement. That alone sparked another long discussion, and from there we moved on to many other interesting topics.

We had paused the movie for a long time and were paying attention to each other’s comments and contributions. I checked the time and realized that if not for my new colleagues, I would have already left the office and headed home. But I stayed because the discussion became even more heated, and it was centered around topics I found very interesting.
Before I knew it, it was already five minutes past four in the evening. I told everyone that I might be heading home soon. Immediately, they all got ready and said they would follow me so we could leave together. That was how we all left the office, and some of them diverted at a junction shortly after the one closest to our office.

I really enjoyed my day at the office today and wished I had expressed it better to show how much I truly enjoyed it.
