Bangladesh is a country of six seasons. The arrival of six seasons in nature decorates nature in a new way. With the change of seasons, it is now winter. And winter means a celebration of colorful flowers in the bosom of nature, which creates a charming atmosphere amidst the fog and cold wind.

During this time, various spring flowers like marigolds, dahlias, chrysanthemums, petunias, cosmos, gazanias, and zinnias adorn the garden and tubs, which make the garden colorful and keep the mind fresh. Their care is also relatively easy, which is very suitable for balconies or roof gardens. Flowers have always been my favorite, in winter I plant various flower plants in tubs on the balcony.

I will go to the nursery to buy some plants for my balcony tub. So I finished my house chores in the morning, then I had breakfast and got ready to go to the nursery. I will go to the nursery with my husband and buy some plants of my choice.

When I reached the nursery, I saw different types of flowering plants, flowers of different colors were blooming on the flowering plants. For some time, I thought I had entered a flower kingdom. I took several pictures of the flowers. There were countless flowering plants in the nursery, I may not even know the names of all the plants here. I went around the nursery and examined several plants.

After reviewing the flowering plants, my husband and I selected some flowering plants suitable for planting on our balcony. The plants we selected included a leafy plant, a Hasnahena flower plant, a marigold flower plant, a red rose plant, and a lettuce plant. The price of each plant was different. Leaving our selected plants aside, we went to the organic fertilizer shed.

Organic fertilizer and soil

Planting trees definitely requires suitable soil. So we bought organic fertilizer and soil from the nursery which is suitable for planting trees. One bag of organic fertilizer cost 700 taka in Bangladeshi currency. We bought fertilizer soil and tree seedlings as per our requirement and returned home. We hired a rickshaw to bring the trees home properly. We bought some earthen pots for planting trees.

When I returned home, I mixed organic fertilizer and soil well. Then I placed the seedlings of the plants in the bottom of the tub, giving one part soil, and after planting the seedlings, I filled the tub with two more parts soil. In the same way, I planted all the seedlings in the soil tub. I feel very happy when I plant different types of plants in soil tubs on my balcony. With regular care of the plants, the plants bloom flowers of different colors and fragrances very quickly. I get a lot of joy then and my hard work brings color.

Once all the plants were planted in the pots, I arranged them in a row on the balcony of my house. However, I spent a lot of time planting the plants properly in the pots. I spent my precious time of the day like this. My body and mind were quite improved by spending the day differently. May everyone be well.
