➤Where is it located? A brief history of the Education Zone, Founder, Established period?
Tongi Government College is a traditional educational institution. It is located next to the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway in the Auchpara area of Tongi, Gazipur City Corporation. Tongi Government College was established on March 1, 1972, at the initiative of brave freedom fighters and local activists. The college was made a government institution in 1988. Tongi Government College is one of the educational institutions in Gazipur. Currently, Higher Secondary Graduate Pass, Honors and Postgraduate courses are available here under the National University. The institution has been playing a glorious role in the education and social development of the Tongi region for a long time.

Tongi Government College has a well-equipped library for students, modern science and computer labs, and a spacious playground. Tongi Government College is under the National University and offers quality higher education, as well as the BNCC Rover Scout and Cultural Club. In addition, low-cost education and close supervision by an experienced teaching staff are one of the main features of the college.

The environment of Tongi Government College campus and its surroundings is quite affected by the impact of urban industrialization. Due to its proximity to the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway, noise and air pollution can be said to be somewhat high. However, the Tongi Government College authorities' tree plantation drive and green courtyard keep the internal environment of the campus calm and pleasant.

➤Based on your exploring experience, please suggest what steps can be taken to further improve their opportunities.
The current environment and overall quality of facilities of Tongi Government College can be further improved. To reduce noise and air pollution on the highway, a green belt of dense and tall trees should be created along the boundary wall. And no horn zones can be introduced on campus. In the information technology era, free WiFi zones and digital libraries and labs can be expanded for students. And in addition to academy education, the scope of seminars, workshops, and career clubs can be expanded. I think it would be better for students if such work were done. I have tried to present Tongi Government College to you in my own way. I hope you enjoyed it. I seek your cooperation.

This special and attractive Tongi Government College in Gazipur is very beautiful to look at. The gate design and interior are attractive. I was very happy to know that this college was built in 1972. I was also happy to know that the freedom fighters established this special college through their hard work. It was also good to know that the quality of education established in a government college and people can study at a low cost. Thank you for sharing.
