Marinating Procedure:

  • I took the leg pieces from the chicken and cut them into two pieces. I took these leg pieces in a white bowl. And then added a tablespoon of ginger garlic paste to it. After that I started adding spices to it. I put one tablespoon of red chili powder one teaspoon of turmeric and salt as required. Next I added one tablespoon of cumin and one teaspoon of black pepper powder. One tablespoon of dried coriander powder.

Frying procedure:

  • I put ghee in a karahi placed it on the stove. And turned on the flame. I let the ghee heat up well and when it was hot. I started adding the pieces one by one. Then I fried the chicken well on low flame. Similarly I have fried all the chicken pieces well. And my delicious fried chickens are all ready to eat.

Do you think homemade fried chicken is healthier than buying it from outside? Why?

I think homemade fried chicken is healthier than fried chicken outside. Especially if cleanliness and moderation are taken care of at home. At home we ourselves see what oil is being used. How fresh the chicken is and in what quantity the spices are being added. Outside usually in hotels the same oil is used repeatedly which is harmful to health. Being a girl I understand very well how important the health of the family members is. So when a mother or sister makes chicken at home. She tries with all her heart that the food is not too harmful. At home we prepare food with less salt less spices and in clean utensils which also comforts the heart. Apart from this homemade food also gives emotional comfort. Because it includes belonging and love. That is why I believe that if you ever want to eat homemade fried chicken is the better choice.

Are the effects of eating fried chicken regularly good or bad?

If fried chicken is eaten occasionally its effects are not so bad. But if it is eaten daily or in large quantities its disadvantages start to appear. Being a girl I have seen this at home that when fried foods are eaten in large quantities weight starts to increase and one feels sluggish. Fried chicken is high in fat. Which can cause digestive problems and is also not considered good for heart health. The elder sister or mother of the house often explains that fried foods should be eaten less. And vegetables lentils or boiled food are more beneficial. If a person takes care of his health and body. Then he should limit fried chicken to special days. Such as on the occasion of a celebration or feast. Only food eaten in moderation keeps a person healthy and happy. Otherwise excess always causes harm.
