Paduar Bazar Bishwa Road Bus Station, Comilla

Paduar Bazar Bishwa Road is the name of a bus station on the highway in the southern region of the Comilla district. It is the only bus station for the people of the southern region of Comilla on the highway from our country's capital, Dhaka, to the southern region of Noakhali, Lakshmipur, Chittagong and Cox's Bazar. The bus station is located two kilometres from Comilla city on the Dhaka-Chittagong highway. I always go to Dhaka, Chittagong and Cox's Bazar from this bus station. There is a footbridge for passengers to cross the road. The buses stop on both sides of the four-lane highway and pick up and drop off passengers. Cars coming from Comilla and different parts of the country stop at this bus station to transport passengers.

There is a temporary highway police outpost next to the bus station. Every day, people from the surrounding districts and upazilas travel to different parts of the country through this bus station. There is a mosque next to the bus station for prayers. Then there are a few restaurants next to the bus station for eating. Since it is next to the highway, there are specific lanes for buses or cars to park. There are a few ticket counters for buses going to Dhaka. In addition, there are bus counters for going to Chittagong and the surrounding districts.

Buses stop in front of the counters at the bus station and leave for their destinations at regular intervals. There are highways on all four sides of the bus station. From here, there are bus counters for Dhaka, the capital, to the west, Chittagong to the east, Comilla to the north, and Noakhali district to the south. I stood on the footbridge and took a few pictures of the bus station.

Paduar Bazar Bishwa Road Bus Station is a temporary bus station. Buses from different parts of the country stop here for a while to pick up and drop off passengers. I travel to the capital, Dhaka, by a non-AC bus called Asia Transport or Tisha Plus. Apart from this, a bus counter called Saudia travels to Chittagong city from this bus station. There is an AC bus service from the bus station.
