Dinajpur Library is located in the Suihari area of ​​Dinajpur town. It can be found just 300 meters north of Dinajpur Government College. Students of Dinajpur Government College primarily purchase their books from this library. Due to its proximity to the college, the library is easily accessible from any part of Dinajpur town. It remains open almost every day. Today, for the first time, I purchased a book from this library.

Books for all levels from Higher Secondary (Classes 11–12) to Honours and Master's are available here; additionally, books required for job preparation are neatly organized on the shelves. The interior is thoughtfully laid out, with books arranged in distinct, separate sections. The space is well-ventilated and receives ample natural light. The books are beautifully displayed in framed shelving units, creating a visually appealing atmosphere.

Here, the books are arranged on separate shelves guidebooks, novels, and others each have their own designated sections. A quick glance from a distance is enough to identify which department the books belong to. I was really impressed by the way the books are organized inside; the library also offers the convenience of allowing you to browse through the collection and purchase books on-site.

There are four or five sellers at this library who are constantly selling books. When I went there to make a purchase, I saw students standing inside, carefully examining the books. Buying books here offers a significant advantage, as they provide discounts of up to 15–20% off the marked price. Since I was accompanied by a friend, I was able to take some great photos there; the books are beautifully arranged and displayed at the front.

Ninety percent of the books in the library are in Bengali, comprising materials for various job examinations, computer-related texts, and books required for the English department. The books for the English department are arranged separately. While books specifically for the English department are not typically purchased by everyone, students from various departments often buy Bengali novels and poetry collections to read. Many people also purchase books based on their cover designs; consequently, efforts are made to ensure that the cover of every book is visually appealing.
