Sometimes, when my mind gets bored for some reason, I go to nature or to the open sky to breathe a little. Because when I stand under the open sky, my soul opens up to nature and all my worries disappear in an instant. And so, last Friday, on a holiday afternoon, I went to visit the Murapara Zamindar Bari near Dhaka in search of some peace. Of course, many people know the Murapara Zamindar Bari as the Murapara University. That afternoon, there were dark clouds covering the sky. It seemed as if rain would fall at any moment.

My love for nature is long-standing. Whenever I get some time in the midst of a busy life, my mind goes to greenery. Trees, open sky, rivers, ponds or any peaceful environment - spending some time among these makes my mind feel much better. I especially love cloudy days. The cloudy sky, cool breeze and the soft beauty of nature always give me a different kind of joy. That day too was a cloudy afternoon. There were clouds all over the sky, there was no strong sunlight, there was a kind of peaceful environment around. Whenever I see such weather, I want to go somewhere. So to enjoy the beauty of nature, we went to visit the famous landlord's house in Rupganj Upazila.

When I reached there, the first thing that caught my eye was the green surroundings. Big trees, green leafy shade, and quiet roads. All in all, the place seemed to be decorated by nature itself. Looking at the old trees standing on both sides of the road, it seemed like they had been carrying the story of this place for many years. Walking under the trees gave me a different feeling. It was really peaceful to spend some time in nature, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The movement of the leaves in the wind, the greenery around, and the cloudy sky all combined to calm my mind.

I always love to find the small beauties of nature. Many times, we run after a big scene and do not notice the small beautiful moments around us. But that day, I was noticing the color of the leaves, the touch of the wind, the small green trees on the side of the road and the silent beauty of nature. Then when I went in front of the landlord's house, I saw a wonderful combination of nature and history. The old structure hides many stories within itself. The beauty of that traditional building and the green fields around it together made the place more attractive.

Looking at the old building, it seemed that time changes so much, but nature retains its beauty. The trees standing next to a hundred-year-old structure seemed to be silent witnesses of that time. That day, I liked the view of the pond next to the landlord's house the most. The reflection of the cloudy sky falling on the calm water created a wonderful scene. The shadow of the sky was changing repeatedly with the light waves of the water. I stood quietly for a while and enjoyed that beauty. Such moments in nature always make me think. We often get away from nature in the busyness of life. Yet nature is the easiest way to keep our minds healthy. Spending a few hours amidst greenery, looking at the open sky or gazing at the calm water - these small things remove our inner fatigue.

I took many pictures that day. For me, a picture is not just a memory of a scene, but a preservation of a feeling. Each picture is associated with a time, a place and some feelings. Today, while writing this Nature Diary and looking at the pictures, I am reminded of that cloudy afternoon. This trip reminded me again—nature is our greatest teacher. Trees teach us patience, rivers and water teach us to walk, the sky reminds us of its vastness. There is a lesson in every element of nature.

We should love and care for nature. It is our responsibility to plant more trees, keep the environment clean and protect natural beauty. Because nature not only gives us joy, it also makes our lives beautiful. That cloudy afternoon at the landlord's house in Rupganj has made a special place in my memory. The sky, the green trees, the quiet pond and the beauty of the traditional structure that day - everything combined was an extraordinary experience.

When I look at these pictures again in the future, maybe the feeling of that day will come back. It will seem that some moments spent with nature are truly one of the most beautiful memories in life. Nature does not speak, but touches our hearts with its beauty. And this Nature Diary of mine is to preserve that beauty.
