International Trade Fair Place, Barishal

Dear friends, I hope you are all doing well. I am also Alhamdulillah, doing very well by the endless mercy of Allah. Today, I will talk to you about the trade fair, which is held at that place almost every year for about one to one and a half months. I will discuss the trade fair in detail with you and introduce you to that place. And it is in Barishal city, located in the southern part of our Bangladesh.

What I wanted to present to you is something I introduced earlier. The name of the place is the International Trade Fair Press Barishal. So to get here, you can tell any rickshaw or auto driver from anywhere in Barishal district town, and they will take you here. Once you arrive, you definitely need to buy a ticket from beside the gate, and you will enter with that ticket. After that, look at that picture of the departure and the photo of the gate from inside.

Here, the place is such that it’s mostly one big open space, and as far as I could find out, the area is about one bigha. This is the place where they hold a fair every year. Besides the trade fair, various other types of fairs also take place here. Anyway, once you enter, the first thing you’ll notice is a water fountain system, which is a beautifully illuminated scene. And this view will attract you the most at this trade fair. Besides that, you can see several other sights here that will make the trade fair even more appealing to you.

If you come to any fair here, you'll be drawn to scenes like this in the same system. At the start, I’ll show you some of the decorations and the games or sights worth seeing here. Honestly, the rides or swings for playing here aren’t just for fun—they look even more beautiful as a sight. For example, when you walk here at night, there’s lighting that makes everything look much more beautiful. There are arrangements for kids’ play on water, and also setups using eggplants. Plus, there are boating arrangements for many, both young and old.

If you want to come here, you can enjoy the pictures I have provided and named. Apart from that, you can wander around and take photos. I will also show you some other things that you can find here for shopping. Here you can get various items, like clothes and cosmetics, etc. Beautiful cosmetics, lovely palettes, and different kinds of necklaces, earrings, and so on. You will also find electronics, glasses, and more. I think you can buy all these things from here and keep them as memories.

I didn’t think you would get everything you want or need. But one thing to keep in mind is that since this is a trade fair, every shopkeeper comes here, pays rent, and gets slightly better facilities, nice surroundings, and needs to earn extra income. For this exact reason, prices here are a bit higher compared to elsewhere. However, you can get a lot of things here that you can take instead of searching for them outside. Besides that, there are also some food areas here where you can eat various types of Chinese and Bengali food.

The picture you see here is of a food shop, and they have been running their business in a big space for about a month and a half. If you want, you can eat here, although I personally didn’t like it, so I didn’t eat here. Anyway, this was my trade fair, and I wanted to introduce this place to you.
