Hello Everyone I Am @MEMAMUN 👳‍♀️ From Bangladesh 🇧🇩

Dear friends, I hope you are all doing well. Alhamdulillah, by the endless mercy of Allah, I am also doing very well. Today I will share something with you, and that is about a stadium. It is primarily a cricket stadium, and it is located in the northern part of Bangladesh, in the city of Bogura. Its name is Shaheed Chandu Stadium. If you want to visit, you can reach Chandu Stadium, which is just one kilometer west from the center of Bogura city.

This stadium was established in 2002 and the national games were held in 2006. In 2006, it was first recognized as a venue for a Test match. This Test match was between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. After that, ODI matches were played here against Sri Lanka, and later in the same year, an ODI match was played against Zimbabwe. That was the last international match played here. The stadium has a capacity of over 15,000. Additionally, there are seating arrangements including VIP, middle, and general sections. Visitors will enter exactly as shown in the pictures provided below.

1000022190.jpgAfter that, you enter through this, and in this way, there are gates all around
1000022191.jpgAs you can see here, the security personnel are checking people and allowing them to enter.

Actually, when I entered, it had been quite a few years since a national team match was held, although it was an Under-19 match. It was our game, Bangladesh versus Afghanistan, but because a match like this was happening after 15 long years, the local people were very happy and excited. As a result, many people had crowded here, and the security personnel present also carried out their duties very well.

At the time of entry, they did inspect quite a few things, even though it was free for a few days and no tickets were required. Those who brought bags had to deposit them, and if they had keyrings or pens, those were taken too. This was to ensure that no unwanted incidents occurred and to try to present this stadium in a good light to the Bangladesh Cricket Board so that international matches could be held here.

The two pictures I have provided above show two types of views, meaning there are seating arrangements all around and the beautiful play of the stadium's fish pond. There is a main gate and areas where many can stay, as well as where the players will be. For the guests who are player-focused, there is a main area. We generally cannot go there; rather, we need some acquaintances and money to get there. Additionally, the seats arranged all around are very nice, neat, and well-organized.

As I mentioned at the beginning, today an Under-19 international match is being held here, and it is the game between Bangladesh and Afghanistan. To hold this match and manage it smoothly, the administration and security arrangements here are very strict. Additionally, two separate areas have been set up for the two teams, one for Afghanistan and one for Bangladesh. The players of Afghanistan and Bangladesh will conduct the game while sitting in designated shelters at designated places.

To be honest, most discussions about Bangladesh are that our Bogura Chand Stadium is a very good stadium, but there are some aspects that actually prevent the national team from playing here. The main reason is that the lighting system here has been dismantled and taken to the Bangladesh Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium. Additionally, another problem is that if it rains, there is currently no drainage system for the water to flow away. Once these two issues are resolved, night games and national team matches can be held here, according to the BCB. Nevertheless, overall, I found it to be good. I also took several photos related to this stadium, which I am presenting below.

Overall, I really liked the arrangements made by Shahid Chandra Stadium Bogura on behalf of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. I mentioned two issues causing us not to get recognition for having national team matches here, but they will be resolved quickly once these two complaints are cleared. Besides that, everything else is very good. Additionally, in Bogura, we have arrangements for players to stay in a five-star hotel named Momine. So, everyone stay well, stay healthy, Allah Hafiz.
