Dear friends, I hope you are all well. Alhamdulillah, I am also very well by the immense mercy of Allah. Every country holds an election through which citizens exercise their voting rights to establish the election. In our Bangladesh, after about 15 to 16 years, such an opportunity to vote has come. A dictator has ruled alone for sixteen years. Now a new chapter is beginning, a new election, the thirteenth election

The time was on the 12th of February, 2026, last month. When I woke up, I felt that today would be one of the best days of my life, the very first day in my life when I would reclaim my rights and cast my vote independently. From morning until breakfast, I was worried about whether my vote would actually be properly counted. I had always wanted to cast my vote through justice and fairness

Anyway, at around 9 in the morning, I, along with my family and a few brothers from my neighborhood, went to the polling station right next to our house. Upon arriving, I saw that voting was proceeding peacefully and smoothly. I met many familiar faces, and then received tokens from them. Among many names, we chose the names of our own family members. After that, we cast our votes one by one

After voting in favor of justice and fairness, completely healthy and fluently, when I came out, I felt exhilarated. For the first time in my life, and those who are of my age with me were very happy. Everyone came and everyone is happily chatting and telling stories. It seems that a spot of joy has risen among them; they are very happy and feeling very good. Smiles have appeared on everyone's faces

When I came out of the voting center after casting my vote, I saw that a mark had been made on my left-hand nail with ink. Seeing this made me very happy. I thought that this is the mark through which everyone will understand that I am a voter and that I have voted. I also felt very delighted to see this; for the first time, I voted through my nail for justice and fairness. Immediately, I took a picture of it and posted it on my media, on my Facebook account

Like me, my friends have also uploaded on many people's Facebook profiles. By voting in favor of Nay and Insaf, they started the day. All day long, you would think that only these kinds of posts were more in Bangladesh. Through this photography of mine, I will remember for my whole life that we were able to cast our first vote in life in a healthy and peaceful manner. At the end of the day, whoever wins, I believe the election has been conducted in a healthy and smooth way
