Photography of mustard after it turns from flower to seed

SteemAtlas Pin and Sound Description

The place that I am going to share i where there is a mustard garden and a forest in the middle of a field in Daganbhuiyan Bazar. Mustard fields are planted there every year. And when the flowers of the mustard field bloom, it looks quite beautiful all around. Apart from that, there is a forest Along with the mustard field. The forest and the wonderful sound of birds make that place quite lively.

Me

And boys play cricket and football nearby. I went to such a place where my mind will be happy. On one side, the beautiful call of birds, there is also a pleasant atmosphere. The mustard flower garden and on the other side, the sound of children playing, all together, the place is that brings peace to the mind. That is why I mainly selected this place for the sound map.

Short Narrative – The Story Behind the Sounds

I usually visit the place in the morning and late afternoon. It is a beautiful and pleasant environment. A mustard flower garden with dense forest on one side and open paths and land on the other. The last time I went there, the first feeling was a strange kind of peace. Although it is far from the hustle and bustle of the city, this place is not completely silent but is full of various sounds of life. It seems that sounds from all around reach the ears at the same time.

South side of the field.

If someone stands there for a minute and just listens, the surrounding sounds will gradually separate and catch their ears. The loudest sound is the call of birds. Some birds call from afar and some birds flap their wings nearby. Also, various types of insects, bees can be seen among the mustard flowers. The sound of bees is also quite comfortable. Meanwhile, the sounds are like nature's own language. The smallest but clear sound among them is the sound of birds chirping. Which sounds very sweet.

Some sounds are heard repeatedly. And that is the call of some birds. It is heard every few seconds or the movement of leaves hanging on the distant trees. These rhythms make the place more alive. However, suddenly, sometimes some surprising sounds reach the ears, something makes a mechanical sound that distracts the attention. Also, from a distance, a child's laughter or a playful scream, and sometimes the sound of light traffic jams, the wind blows. And among these sounds, it is understood that despite all the sounds of the mechanical city, human life does not stop and continues to move forward.

Overall, the place has added a new level to my Geo Quest journey. Where my origin point in Week One was my inner feelings, the sounds of the garden and the forest have connected me more deeply to the outside world. Standing here, one can realize that not only can sounds be heard, but sounds can also be perceived from the mind. One can also learn from this place that if you listen carefully, every place tells its own story.

Two to Four Personal Photos

I am sharing some photos of the garden and the locality as well as the in-laws' flower garden and jungle. In fact, when you go to such a place, you can't help but take photographs, so I took many photographs in different places and from different angles. Since I liked the beautiful environment and the photos came out quite well, I am sharing four photos with you.

Hidden Sound Challenge – Guess the Sounds

Since the environment is pleasant here, in addition to being an open space, many types of sounds have been recorded in the video. For example, the sound of children playing, traffic jams, birds chirping, but you have to tell me that in my video, at one point a bird was flying in a tree what its call would be. Although the call of that bird is in the video, you have to tell by watching the video and listening to the sound.

Also, during the video, an insect was flying in front of the camera, what kind of insect is that insect, you have to guess.

Apart from wind, animals and birds, traffic jams, children playing, there is a sudden sound that distracts attention and what kind of sound it could be. So let's watch the video and understand which sound is which.

Thank you for your participation in Geo-Quest Mystery – Week 2: The Sound Map. Here is an evaluation of the post by @nevlu123, following the official Week 2 rubric for Geo-Quest Mystery.

Evaluation Summary

CriteriaScoreComments
1. SteemAtlas Pin & Sound Description1.60 / 2.0The SteemAtlas pin is clearly included with coordinates and a named location (Namar Bazaar Mustard Flower Garden, plus Google Maps and plus code). The soundscape is explained (birds, insects/bees, children playing, distant traffic). To reach full points, add one concise “listener anchor” line: where to stand for the cleanest layers (edge of forest vs inside the field) and what you hear first within 5 seconds.
2. Creativity of Mission & Hidden Sound Challenge1.55 / 2.0The mix of nature + nearby kids’ sports + distant mechanical/traffic is a strong and realistic sound-map concept. The hidden challenge is partly good (guess the bird call, identify the insect, identify the sudden distracting sound). However, several sounds are also stated directly (kids, traffic, birds), so the “hidden” aspect could be more subtle. For higher points: hide three sounds via metaphor/hints and avoid naming them plainly.
3. Speem.watch / Proof Video (20–60s, focus on sound)1.10 / 2.5A proof video is provided (IPFS). However, based on your note, the sound is not clear, and the post does not clearly state that the audio is raw ambient (no added music/edits). This reduces “Sound Map” proof strength. To improve: record 20–60s with 10–15 seconds standing still, avoid wind buffeting the mic, and explicitly state “raw ambient audio, no music overlay,” so listeners can trust the soundscape.
4. Storytelling Quality2.10 / 2.5The narrative follows the Week 2 structure well: when you go, what you feel, and a “one-minute listening” section (loudest, smallest, repeating rhythms, surprise sounds). To strengthen it further: make 2–3 sound details more concrete (direction/distance, echo near trees, exact rhythm like “every few seconds,” etc.).
5. Engagement (Listening / Guessing others)0.60 / 1.0Engagement is present but limited: the author replied briefly and interacted around guesses. To secure full points, the participant should clearly comment on at least two other entries and guess three sounds per entry (or explicitly address their hidden clues).

Final Score: 6.95 / 10

Remarks:
This is a well-chosen location with a clear SteemAtlas pin and a solid attempt at a sound-based mystery (bird call + insect + sudden sound). The biggest improvement needed is the proof video: clearer, clearly raw ambient audio, and recorded in a way that lets listeners separate layers (birds vs insects vs kids vs distant mechanical sounds). With a stronger audio capture and slightly more “hidden” clue writing, this entry could move into the 8+ range.

Hola, amigo. Lindo video. Lo que me pareció ver fue el paso rápido de una abeja. El sonido repentino fue por la patada a la pelota. Pero no pude ver aves.

The bird fly in the video, you can find out it When I shot the video at the top of a tree.

Ah Ok. I see
