The waves of New year shopping in Ifa Atai market.

The New year is round the corner just like a pregnant woman that is labour ready to deliver soon. People are busy shopping for themselves and their families because no one wants to be left out. In my are, there is this weekly market I visited it's always extra busy because of how people are shopping for the new year.

It happen that I visited Ifa Atai market yesterday being the main market day to pick some fairly used clothes for my children attribute to the Christmas and new year celebration. Every where were busy more than the Christmas period. And the main things people shop most was clothes, shoes, bags and food stuffs.

To my greatest surprise you know during this season a lot of commodities is always on a high side. But this year's own was very big difference
Because I can remember by this period last year a paint of onions was 10,000 naira that is about 100 steem or let me say 4 pieces of onions was 2000 naira that is about 20 steem. But this year own is very ship and affordable. Not only onions and with other commodities.

But when it comes to childrens commodities it's on a high side. Especially clothes whether fairly used clothes or the new ones. My intention of going to the market was to buy oready made clothes like occasion clothes for my children but to my greatest surprise each trousers and shirt was 18,000 thousand naira. While my plans was to buy clothes for 3 person. After my shopping I made my cash payment to the seller before I left.

And one thing I like about the market is that it is located at the main town in the city and you can shop and go at any time you want without too much pleasure like closing the gate or has a pacific time to close or locked inside until you pay a fine before coming out. And it sales once in every week.

So on the day of every market day people come from different places to come and sale in the market and also pay a ticket of three hundred naira to the ticket sellers and the main arms of selling this ticket is for the development and maintenance of the market.
