The diarygame 14/12/2025: Family outing on a cultural day.

The Akwaibom state government has organized cultural display of all the local government in the state , this event started since on 1st of December 2025. Timetable was set and the first local government started on 1st of December since then the place has been a tourist arana to both people living in the state and outside . Yesterday being the 15/12/2025 was for ikot Ekpene local government and they are known for their Raffia creativity and other traditional things such as sweet garri, fufu and fresh palm oil.

The procession started around 3.00pm, they presented their craft and what they are known for alongside their cultural dances, unfortunately they didn't come with their masquerade reasons best known to them.

My children and I visited the place to have a view of what is happening and behold it was a place of attraction, there lot kiosk selling drinks and food.

The place is located at udoudoma now known as Christmas village. I'm inviting everyone to visit this place , there's securities, price of things in this place is somehow high but it's worth it since it's the season.

More people started coming over to the place as night was drawing near.

I left that place and went home to watch some news.

Thereafter, I prepared dinner for the family. My sister called me for an online family meeting. We discussed so many things and how we can appreciate our parents during this season.
