The waves of Christmas shopping in Akpanadem market.

Christmas celebration is in the air; every family is doing their best not to be left out. During my visit to one of the biggest markets in Akwa Ibom, I discovered that the market is busier compared to some months back. When I recalled the course, I attributed it to the Christmas celebration.
The roads were blocked; vehicles are moving slowly due to buyers and sellers occupying the road.

The best-selling products this season are foodstuffs, clothes, bags, shoes, hair accessories, curtains, chairs, and others.

One good thing about this season is the majority of the shops sell some of their products at discounts, which is favorable to many, while some give gifts. It's truly a season of love and care.I went to the market to buy some things for my children. I bought the following:

• Clothes
• Children watch
• Shoes.

The rate at which children's things are costly in the market is alarming; even the fairly used clothes are becoming costly, except for the worn-out ones that are not attractive.After selecting the things I wanted, I paid 50 thousand naira in cash and transferred the rest through the use of an ATM.This market is located in the middle of the town; it has so many routes that lead there.

The opening hours are as early as 5:00 AM, and the market gate closes by 6:00 PM for security reasons, though some road sellers sample their goods outside.The environment of this market is well positioned; the market council takes care of the environment and makes sure it's neat at all times.Sellers are also friendly and hospitable.
