We visited the motherless home.

One thing every Christian should be doing frequently is visiting and helping the needy; unfortunately, some people find it difficult to show love to the less privileged living in our society. Being one of the leaders in the children's department in my church, we decided to visit a nearby motherless home in order to support them with the little we have. When the announcement was made, the children in my church were excited to go out and share with others; some told their parents to bring something, while some children personally brought their shoes and clothes for the outing.

Preparations were made, and the day finally came; we used one of Christian's brother's buses and carried the children aged 1-10 to the orphanage.

Some items we went with were.

• Foodstuffs, like garri, rice, and beans.

• Snacks like drinks and biscuits

• Slippers and shoes

• Cloths

• And money.

• Tissues

• Soaps

The caregiver showed around the facility, and I can tell you it's the most interesting place I went this week, seeing these innocent children being cared for and fed by someone that is not their own. We stayed and prayed with them while they appreciated us for coming around.It was an awesome experience for the children who went with us; they saw more reasons to be grateful to God because having a parent around you means the whole world. We returned to the church, and the children left with their parents.

There's one thing I learned from our visit: I think we have a higher possibility of God blessing when we take care of these children sincerely from their hearts without compromising by selling them out for their human gain. Most of the children there are so beautiful, handsome, and innocent.
