The Diary Game: How I Spent My Day cooking (23-1-2026)

Hello steemian, my name is Purity Okon, but my user name on steemit is @ purityy. Am writing about how mu went, though I spent my whole day at home sleeping and cooking, but I really had enough rest today. I wake up this morning not strong, but I wanted to do something, I first read my Bible, say my prayers, I took long today communicating with God because it been a while I did that. After praying I went out to urinate but discovered the compound have not been sweep, so I finish urinating went inside my room, change my night wear to something more better went out and start sweeping.

Sweeping our compound is not easy, because the compound is big and you have to eat first before you will have strength to sweep, it was too early to eat so I turn on the music in my phone, use my earphone listening to gospel music so it will entertain me and give me strength to sweep, it almost me almost an hour before I finish sweeping, I pack them and burn it. I rested for sometime before washing plate, after washing plate I didn't know what else to do so I sat outside with my neighbors discussing, in the middle of the discussion I was hungry and I didn't have anything at home.

But I remember I have one coconut remaining from the ones I brought back from my fiancee home town, so I break it and use the water and drink garri, after I was done drinking the garri I had a little strength so I decide to cook soup which it been a while I ate soup, I finally settled for our best native soup, if you don't cook that soup in your party, that means you have not start, the name is Afang soup. I start plucking the leaf, after I was done plucking the leaf I wash it, dry it, while I was drying it I decide to just lay down a little but I doze off, before I realized and wake it was mid afternoon I had quickly slice the leaf, after slicing I went to fetch water, take my bath and left for market, I went to market today and things are really expensive, I had to withdraw and cash and add to what was with me.

I bought water leaf, bought meat though I didn't add it to my list I just wanted to buy it so my soup will be rich. I bought other ingredients needed for the soup, after buying everything I went home using Keke because it was late and I wanted to finish cooking before going to church for choir rehearsal, I got home start pounding the leaf, because it needs to be pound, after pounding I wash the water leaf, slice it and keep it in a safe place to avoid sand. I wash the pot, wash my meat, fish,. periwinkle and other things into the pot, I brought my gas outside because it was hot inside and I can't On gas with that kind of temperature, I was about lightning my gas when I discovered that my gas have finish.

Oh my God! Was what came out of my mouth, another expenses because have really spent a lot today, I had no choice than to take the gas to gas station, fill It and bring it home, by the time I came back home from filling the gas it was late, so I quickly do everything in a hurry cook the soup, make Eba and ate out of it before going to church for choir rehearsal, I gave my neighbor some, and left for church, I got to church late and they had start the rehearsal long before I arrive, I just pay for my lateness because that is the rules if you don't want to collect strokes.

After rehearsal, I came back home and saw light so I charge my phone and I start dancing making videos, because dancing is my hubby, I became tired and was sweating so I took my bath, eat again because the soup is so delicious, after eating I sat outside for a while for fresh air before entering inside to sleep.
