Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. My wife and I are not a picky eater. Every time we're not going anywhere and we are at home or have no errands outside. We will live the simple life and cook simple food to eat together. Today too, after we sent our son and granddaughter to school, we go home. I spent a long time in the garden this morning. It's winter and there's no rain. So I gardened, pulling grass with weeds, and moving eggplants from plastic baskets into the soil. I plant eggplant in 3 plastic baskets. Each basket uses 4 seeds. But 3 baskets only have 3 eggplant plants growing. I moved these eggplants to different areas in my home garden. These are the eggplants in one basket I planted.

Lunch for us today was simple as usual. My wife picked little fresh vegetables from the home garden to cook for me and her. She cooked two dishes and Somtam was our food again. Another dish is stir-fried mixed vegetables and papaya with egg in oyster sauce. Fresh mixed vegetables from the garden this time includes winged beans, hyacinth beans, edamame and Japanese cucumber. Both dishes are eaten with sticky rice. She also harvested pandan to use for cooking sticky rice this time.

Vegetables and papayas in the garden. She picked 2 papayas from 2 trees. The first papaya is for eating fresh. The second papaya is used to make Somtam and stir-fried mixed vegetables and papaya with egg in oyster sauce.
