What kind of City Landmark Zone have you visited? Briefly introduce it.

	The Narayanganj College

Today I visited a well-known college in our Narayanganj district. The name of the college is Narayanganj College, Narayanganj College is a renowned private educational institution established on July 1, 1980. It is located on Sirajuddaula Road in Narayanganj city and is run under the National University. The college offers Higher Secondary (HSC), Graduation (Pass) and Honors courses. With the motto “Education is the path of life”, this college has been working to provide quality education. All classes are taken here by experienced teachers. The college is open from Saturday to Thursday from 9 am to 5 pm. However, the college is closed on government holidays, only the college office is open.
Narayanganj College usually starts admission to class XI every year after the results of the SSC examination.

Narayanganj College has a total of 4 buildings, one building is 7-storey, two are 4-storey and another is 3-storey. Each building is divided into departments of different departments. For example, the 7-storey building houses the English, Management and Accounting departments. The 4-storey building, which is just entered through the college, houses the Social Work, Bengali and Political Science departments. The remaining buildings are divided based on other departments of Higher Secondary, Honors and Degree.

The buildings have very beautiful and neat classrooms for students. The classrooms have fans as well as AC facilities and there are monitors, speakers and microphones to provide digital facilities to the students in their studies. There is an office of their department next to each classroom where students can directly inform the teachers about their problems. Also, the 7-storey building has an elevator so that students do not have to struggle much to go up. The college also has a computer lab and ICT-equipped learning environment.

The college has a bus for the convenience of students. This bus has been arranged to safely bring and drop off all the students who come to the college from far away destinations, however, for this, the students have to pay an amount every month to the college authorities. Also, since it is a private educational institution, students have to pay their salaries every month, in addition to exam fees, fees for participating in various programs and various other fees.

The college also has a canteen, so that students do not have to go out during tiffin time, they get everything in the college. There is a beautiful and big Shaheed Minar in the college, where martyrs are honored on days like 21st February and 26th March. This Shaheed Minar has been built in the middle at the very end of the college campus, which looks very attractive. The college also has a field for organizing sports where boys play cricket tournaments.

What is the demand for tourists inside and outside the place?

Since Narayanganj College is an educational institution, the demand for students is more than tourists. However, some parents come to visit the college to see what the education system is like here and what are the facilities of the college authorities. Since they send their children to the educational institution to build their future and get a good education, they come and observe carefully whether this educational institution will be good for their children. Apart from this, the demand for Narayanganj College is fairly good among students. Since the environment here is quite beautiful and tidy, they are more interested in studying here.
However, due to one aspect of this college, it is feared that the demand for students for this college is decreasing a bit because since this college is private, there are many extra fees charged here in addition to the salary, which is not possible for students from middle-class families. So instead of coming to Narayanganj College, Serkol students try to get a chance at Government Tolaram College and Narayanganj Government Women's College. However, when the students do not get a chance in those colleges, they come to Narayanganj College and get admitted.

Today is the first day the college opened after the Eid closure, due to which I was not able to take pictures of different places in the college. Also, teachers are not allowed to go to many places here without permission, so I could not go, but I tried to share complete information about the college with you. I know this college from a long time ago but have never been inside it, today I went to his college with my friend. However, while preparing this report today, in my 24-hour experience, I felt that Narayanganj College is quite good in terms of education, the environment inside their college is also very beautiful. Also, the classrooms are very neat and tidy and along with this, there is a digital education system in the classes.
But the thing that caught my eye is that besides the salary, other extra fees are charged here which is not possible for everyone. Also, if an application is made to the college authorities for reduction of salary or any other fee, it is not accepted, which puts some pressure on the students and parents and creates negative thoughts about the college in their minds. So, I think the college authorities should monitor this aspect more.
