Clay Lamp and Golden Lantern
In a quiet village by a small river, there was a small shop. The shop had two items: a simple clay lamp and a gorgeous golden lantern. The shop belonged to an old craftsman who had spent his life making things out of clay and polishing metals to illuminate people's homes.
The clay lamp was placed on a low wooden shelf. It was plain, made of clay, and had no beauty; its surface was uneven, and its shape was very simple. On the other side of the clay lamp, a golden lantern hung proudly from a polished hook. It burned brightly without a flame, reflecting the sunlight during the day and scorching anyone who looked at it.
The golden lantern often spoke proudly. He would say to the clay lamp in a soft voice, “Look at me, I am made of gold, everyone admires me, one day I will be placed in a big house, maybe even in a palace. And you? “You are nothing but clay shaped into a bowl.”
The clay lamp was humble and gentle. He never argued. He would only answer, “Maybe. But we both have the same purpose – to give light to each other.”
The golden lamp would laugh. Pride would say, “You? Give light? You may have a small flame, but look at me, I will burn brighter, more beautifully, more gloriously.”

Days passed, and one evening, a rich merchant entered the shop and, having caught sight of the golden lamp, without hesitation, he bought it.
The earthen lamp remained behind, still and silent.
A few days later, a poor peasant came to the shop. His clothes were worn out, and his face looked tired. He was looking for something within his means. The craftsman showed him the earthen lamp. The peasant smiled softly and said, “This will do. I just need something to light the house.”
And so, the golden lantern and the earthen lamp began their new lives.
The golden lantern was placed in a large building. It hung in a large hall with a marble floor and high pillars. People admired its beauty, and guests often complimented it. But strangely, it was rarely lit. Its owner was afraid that the smoke would tarnish its gold plating. It was essentially a decorative item—glowing in the dark, but useless.
Meanwhile, the earthen lamp was taken to a small hut near the field. Every evening, the farmer filled it with oil and lit the saltpeter. Its soft, warm glow filled the small room. It illuminated the farmer's food, helped his children study, and comforted the family after a long day's work.
Although it was simple, the earthen lamp served its purpose every night.
One stormy evening, the black. The sky was covered with clouds. Torrential rain began to fall, and a strong wind roared through the village. The electricity in the building went out, and the great hall was plunged into complete darkness.
The golden lantern hung silently. The family gathered under it, but it had no light. They hesitated, afraid to use it. “What if it breaks?” they whispered. And so, they waited helplessly in the darkness for the storm to pass.
At the same time, in the small hut, the farmer lit the earthen lamp as usual. Despite the fierce wind outside, its steady flame brought warmth and light inside. The family sat close together, feeling safe and calm. The children smiled, and the farmer’s wife said, “This little lamp is our blessing.”
The clay lamp burned brighter, not because of its material, but because it was used for its intended purpose.

A few days later, news of the storm spread throughout the village. People began to talk about how some of the big houses were plunged into darkness, while the small houses with ordinary lamps were bright.
Finally, the owner of the mansion decided to use the golden lantern. But when they went to light it, they realized that it had never been prepared properly. It had no salt and no oil. It had always been considered an object of beauty, not an object of work.
The golden lantern felt ashamed. For the first time, it realized that beauty alone was worthless if it could not serve its purpose.
One day, the craftsman went to both houses. He saw the golden lantern hanging unused and the clay lamp burning warmly in the farmer's hut. He gently touched the clay lantern and said, "You are nothing but a bowl made of clay."
Then he turned to the earthen lamp and smiled. "And you, you have performed your duty excellently."
The golden lantern understood that outward appearance is not the true form, but action is the true form.
And the earthen lamp? It continues its normal life. It burns itself to give light to others. It values its duty, not its pride,
Moral story: A person's true worth is not revealed in outward appearance, but rather lies in the sincere pursuit of one's purpose.

@marvinvelasquez sir,
First of all, thank you for visiting my post. I have been working on Steemit for a long time. I have never used A.I detector. Before writing the current post, I used a YouTube channel to find a better story. But the writing is my own.
I usually don't check any writing with A.I, I only use SEO small tools. This was my biggest mistake. I should have checked with A.I detector. After receiving your message, I also checked and got a close report.
Although the writing is my own, somehow, A.I was caught. For this reason, I regret it. In the coming days, I will be more careful to protect my reputation.
Thank you.
I apologize to you and I am sorry that it happened in this challenge. Unfortunately some SEO tools leave this digital trace sensitive to AI detectors. I suggest you to put at the end of your posts the tool you use, when you do it, in order to avoid this kind of situations.
