Today I will post about the railway station of our area. One of the means of transportation for the people of our area is the train. We travel more by train. Traveling by train is more comfortable for us. Saidpur railway station is located 1.5 kilometers away from my house. Saidpur station is quite large in size. It is about 200 meters long. This station has an entrance. Enter through the entrance and reach platform number one. Most of the time the train stops at platform number one.

Saidpur is located under Nilphamari district. It is an upazila. There is a huge station in Saidpur. This station is quite old. However, it has been renovated several times. This station has two platforms. There is also a building. There is a separate ticket room here. Tickets are available from 8 am. There is a station master's room here. And there is good seating arrangement for passengers. Apart from this, separate small places have been made for sitting on platform-1. There is a fan on platform-1. Apart from this, CCTV cameras have been installed there. There is a station mosque next to platform-1. Apart from this, there is an overbridge. Next to it is the office of the police stationed on the train. The second platform was built a few days ago. It is not used much by passengers. It is used suddenly. When there is a possibility of two trains coming from both directions at the station. Then the first train is made to stand on platform number two. Earlier, the passengers had difficulty due to the lack of a second platform. So the station authorities have built a second platform. The overbridge of this station is not used much. Sometimes people use the overbridge. The stairs to go up to the overbridge are outside the station. So it is not used often by passengers. There are small tea shops outside the station and rickshaws and autorickshaws for transportation.

What are the special dishes of that place?

This station is very special for the people of Saidpur. We can go to Dhaka from Saidpur. We don't have to go anywhere else. Nilsagar and Chilahati Express trains go to Dhaka from Saidpur station. It is closed 1 day a week. Apart from that, you can go to Rajshahi and Khulna from Saidpur. The trains leave from Chilahati and go to Dhaka through Saidpur station. Our Saidpur station lines are broad gauge. The train coaches of this line are large in size. And these trains are fast. Traveling by bus takes more time. So most people travel by train. All trains stop at our Saidpur station. It is seen that not all trains stop at most stations. All trains stop at our station in that direction. There are some food shops next to this station. Burgers made of puri are available there as a special food. Apart from that, there is malai tea. There is no good food hotel near this station. Breakfast is available here.

I went to the station a few days ago. I boarded the train and went to Parbatipur at noon. I also went to the station a little earlier so I walked around the station. The station is very clean. There is no dirt anywhere. I went up on the overbridge and looked around. There was a gentle breeze. It was a wonderful feeling. There are no big hotels near this station. There are a few hotels nearby. Where malai tea, singara, pulse-rice, eggs, fish, uri etc. are available. Apart from that, there are some confectioneries where chocolate and ice cream are available.
