Diary Entry: Beautifying the Fence with Copping and Concrete Date: December 22, 2025 Location: Nigeria, Weather: Sunny and warm

My morning Inspiration
A very good morning I went to the site early, the harmattan breeze carrying the scent of sawdust from yesterday’s work.
Today’s mission: finishing the coping on the fence I’ve been building, there’s something magical about shaping wood it’s like giving life to raw timber,I decided to work early,I grabbed my tools bag, this my bag is always ready to deliver me anytime,anyway at work
The Process:
Me at the site that very blessful good morning,I started measuring left and right, measuring Twice, Cutting once,I use a marine board in doing the copping form work, this marine board makes the surface of a casting smooth and looking good,so before using the marine board I needed to cut it in to the actual dimension I am looking for.
After the cutting of marine board into 4 inch, 3 inch and 5 inch, I need to start forming it together before the installation begins,but before installing the copping I needed to take some level in the fence by using a water level and a blue line
After the form work and the instalment was done,I needed to tiredy up the fence top before the casting begins
- A carpenter’s patience is in the pencil marks*😀
It's was 4pm which is the evening time Casting the copping Layer, to ensure longevity,the iron bender matted it with a iron rod, to give it more and everlasting strength, after the iron man was done, I sprayed some water,so that when am done with my concrete mixing I will start pouring it
 this is measurements for two bags |  steady turnning,no go there oooo |

After they where done with the casting Standing back, the fence now looks sturdy and elegant, the copping work made it look good and beautiful

Like any good construction worker, the fence now looks much more interesting and has a much better appearance. With dedication and effort, you achieved your goal, finishing the fence with all the materials you had on hand, allowing you to successfully complete your objective for the day.
