The Diary Game: 15.02.2026 “A Day of Loneliness and Little Moments”
This morning started at around eight in the morning. As soon as I opened my eyes, I saw that the clock had struck eight. I was still very sleepy, but realizing that it was late, I got up in a hurry. I got up and freshened up first, then thought about what to eat and drink. Today I had to make breakfast myself, because my mom and dad were not at home. They had gone to the doctor in Dhaka, so the house looked completely empty.
I went to the kitchen and made myself tea. There were some biscuits in the house, so I had breakfast with tea and biscuits. It felt a little strange to sit and have breakfast alone. Usually we all sit and eat together at this time, but today everything seemed different
After breakfast, I went out for a while. Then I returned home and sorted out all the work. After finishing my homework, I cooked and had lunch. My brother is not at home either. I don't want to spend time without my brother. When I am alone, my mind feels empty. So I was sitting and looking at my phone. I was looking at some old photos taken with my brother on the phone. Looking at the photos makes me happy, but also makes me sad. To be honest, I don't like being alone without my brother at all.
After that, I took a bath and had lunch. I cooked eggs and eggplant fry today, then after finishing eating, I took a nap. My mother has not been home for a few days, so I have to do all the work alone. This makes my body very tired. Sometimes my head hurts. So I needed sleep a lot.
I have to make some breakfast for the afternoon. So I am thinking what to do. I have to make breakfast for my younger brother. I will spend today alone. I will spend my time in some busyness so that I don't feel sad. I have to read my brother's book in the evening. He has an exam ahead at school. School is closed today. So we stayed at home. In the evening, when I finish reading the book, we will heat up the food and eat, then watch TV and sleep.
