The Diary Game: Going To Church And Cooking Delicious Afang Soup (21/12/2025)

Happy Sunday to everyone in the house and a very happy weekend, though we are already out of the weekend. I was in church today and since I am a member of the media team in my church, I had clear pictures of different events that took place in church today. Here is a picture of my pastor who was leading in the first hymn of the day.

Then after that, I took my camera to where the choir were beautiful dressed and seated. I love seeing this choir members this clean and unarguably, they are the best choir in the entire zone. They have proved it countless times so it's not even a guess work.

There were other events I captured but because of time and because I am still trying to fit other things in this diary, I might not get to share it. After the preaching and everything, the device came to an end and that was how we went back home. When I left the church and went back home, my daughter told me she wanted to eat afang soup and God so did it that there was afang leaves in the house.

I got back home and gave her tea to drink while I went straight to the kitchen after changing up, I washed the afang leaves and dried them, the hot sun dried them ASAP for me and then I took them inside and began to chop the leaves so that it will be small for me to grind.

I know, you will say I am village boy and that's exactly who I am honestly. I am truly a village boy and I have heard that countless times because I prepare using my own hands to cook my food. So after chopping the afang and also grinding it, I took water leaf and selected them before I began to wash it and chopped them as well.

When my daughter was busy trying to make garri because that's what I want her to know how to do first of all before any other thing.

The afang soup was ready within a short period of time and then I dished it, since it was evening already, I dished it very much and we ate it with garri. I was so filled so was my daughter so we couldn't do anything apart from just resting after we finished eating.

When I managed to stand up, I took the dirty plates inside and had them washed before we bathed for evening. I went to my reading table and tried to read my Bible but sleep came and I decide to share my diary and go to bed, tomorrow is still another day.
