Al-Quran Kareem is the only book used by Muslims all over the world that serves as our guidance and helps us to have a strong connection with the Almighty Allah. Ramadan is coming, and I pray that we may witness many more of it on earth. In this coming Ramadan, Muslims are urged to complete reading the whole Quran in order to earn rewards from Almighty Allah.

Al-Quran Kareem gives us peace of mind, forgiveness, and also improves our overall well-being. Indeed, every Ayah or letter we read in the Quran has its own reward, which serves as protection in this world and the afterlife from hellfire. Most scholars use the words in the Quran to preach to the ummah in order to live comfortably and to guide us on how to relate to non-Muslims.

I love to read the Quran because I believe that I will find forgiveness and mercy from Almighty Allah. I don’t usually know the meaning of each word from the Quran, but the English and Yoruba translations help reduce my anxiety and elevate my life.

I know some people, both young and old, who prefer to read Al-Quran Kareem on a daily basis because it gives them wisdom and also helps them to move closer to their Creator.

The protection I mean from reading the Quran is that it will protects us from the evil that wants to befall us, as well as safety from Almighty Allah is guarantee. All this can be achieved through the recitation of the Quran from morning after Fajr prayer and in the evening before we go to bed.

It would be good to memorize the Quran at a young age, and I am very happy whenever I see children aged 10 and above recite from the Quran. The intonation from reading the Quran uplifts my spirit because it soothes my heart.
