Hello My Steemain Friends ,

So, in this post I am going to share my full day routine (4/ 07/2026 ) . I hope you people like and enjoy my post

Like any other day, this morning was a hectic one too; there is always so much to do since my husband and both children have to leave early. But just as I woke up, the power went out. That meant the water task was stalled—since the motor couldn't run, there was no way to fill the tanks.

However, I was worried about one specific thing: I had forgotten to iron my elder son's clothes the night before. He had to leave at 9:15 AM, and I was anxious because I hadn't prepared my husband's clothes either. I had gotten busy with some unexpected work the previous day and simply forgot about it at night.

My anxiety was strictly about the clothes; I wasn't worried about the rest of the chores. I usually decide the night before what to pack in the kids' lunchboxes. Since my younger son needs a packed lunch, I cook enough in the morning to cover his meal as well as my husband's. My elder son attends college classes and gets his lunch there, so I don't have to worry about his meal. I also place the kids' water bottles in the fridge the night before so I don't have to fill them in the morning rush.

Just as the lunchboxes were ready and everything else was sorted, the power suddenly came back on. I was so relieved! I quickly ironed the clothes. My husband didn't even notice—which was great, otherwise, I would have had to listen to a lecture from him. I hurriedly got the clothes ready and sent everyone off.

Then I prepared my elder son's clothes; only then did I feel truly relaxed, as I had no other pending worries. After everyone left, I rested for half an hour. Later, I went to the shop, where an order list arrived. My husband handed it to me to tally up on the calculator while he attended to other work.My husband had placed an order at the shop and the goods arrived on the trolley, so today was a very busy day.

Finally, I came home and prepared cold coffee for the kids, as they always crave something cold to drink the moment they return in this heat. For dinner, I prepared pooris, a potato-and-tomato curry, and raita. I made the pooris stuffed with ground lentil paste, as both my elder son and I really enjoy them.

To make them, urad dal (split black gram) is soaked and ground with spices; this mixture is then stuffed into the dough before frying. It is quite easy—not labor-intensive at all—and comes together quickly. Later, when my husband returned and I had finally relaxed, I served him some sliced cucumber; we then had dinner and watched a bit of TV. That is how my daily routine goes—people coming and going, preparing something or the other for everyone—and the entire day just flies by.
