The Diary Game||4-01-2026|| How I Wore Mom's Clothes To Church

Happy Sunday to you all my esteemed steemians. I trust you all had a super fantastic day. Mine was great and I'm excited to share with you all about my day.

PREPARATION FOR CHURCH
I woke up feeling grateful to God for life and preservation. I remembered it was Sunday so I stood up and prepared for church.
I'm a chorister and so, I had already prepared that I was going to wear my choir uniform to church. But, this morning I decided to call my fellow chorister and she told me we weren't going to sing today. Why? Because this January is usually our covenant service and most part of the service will be conducted at the headquarters while we connect online.
So she said we will not sing at our local districts. That was actually a misinformation though. So with what she said, I had to look for another cloth to wear.

TRYING OUT MOM'S CLOTHE
While thinking of what to wear, my mom suggested that I wear her clothes. Ahh! I didn't buy that idea ooo. And mom was vexed. She went on to say I didn't know a good thing because she hasn't worn the clothes before. Well…for me my fear was that it wasn't going to size me and it won't be fine on me. So I laughed at the idea. Mom insisted that the clothes would be fine on me.
I gave up and decided to try it out anyway. I brought out the cloth and wore it. Surprisingly, it wasn't as big as I had expected.
Mom immediately complimented how it looked good on me, and that it was perfect. But, I wasn't on the same page with her thoughts though. So I kept checking it out in the mirror.
I felt it didn't fit very well, so I decided to try it out with a belt and it was just perfect.
So I settled on wearing the clothes.
And off I went to church. I made sure to snap pictures within the way though.

In church

I got to church and then soon discovered we were supposed to sing a choir piece.
The first congregational hymn is usually led by a youth chorister. My mom mistakenly told me a different number of hymns which weren't the actual one. And I was busy practicing it all along, only to hear another called. Thank God I had known that one also, if not I wouldn't have been able to sing it. Kai! It's really good for one to always be ready, because an impromptu test of our skill can come anytime.

It was a great time in God's presence and I made sure to snap beautiful pictures with my outfit and other church members too.

After service

SPENDING TIME AT HOME
I got home, ate and decided to rest. I had planned on washing my clothes, but I ended up not doing so. After eating, I remembered I didn't snap my food, the food had already when I remembered.
I went on to surf social media.

I posted my pictures and I got so many compliments about my outfit.
I'm glad I obeyed my mom to wear the cloth
I told her I'll take the cloth permanently and she didn't agree ooo. She told me I never wanted the cloth in the first place.

I already know what to do. I'll just fold the gown into my box and return to school with it. Then it will officially become mine!
