The Diary Game: Reading Alone In School On Saturday And A Surprise Gift From My Landlord (14/02/2026)

I don't know if there is anything I need to do because my eyes are beginning to pain me due to much reading. I had promised my dad that I won't disappoint him and right now, I am so anxious about our examination that is coming up. That was why, on Saturday, I couldn't stay at home, I had to dress and go to school.

I knew there wouldn't be much people in school on Saturday. That's the perfect time to read because I won't even be distracted by anything or anyone. So, I went to school and had my seat in am empty class, the environment was so quiet and I loved it.

The reason I didn't want to stay at home to read on Saturday is that, I would easily sleep while trying to read because my bed is really closed to reading table so anytime I read, I always feel sleepy but coming here will really help me.

I was enjoying how cool the environment had been, I was reading and it was entering. I went with small snacks to keep my mouth busy.

When I covered the book I went with, I was just doing a revision of what I read till I was tired so I decided to feed my eyes with something. I went to the window and saw these cattles grazing. I was enjoying the sight of it because I have not really taken time to see how cattles eat. No one was there on site to take care of them but they never left where they were feeding.

I was tired of being in the school alone, so I went back home to go and rest and this was very late in the afternoon, it was evening frankly speaking. So, I went back home and I made garri and ate the soup I cooked since last night.

When I finished eating, my landlord sent someone to come and call me, when I went there, he pointed at the potatoes that was there and told me I should take it with me. I was very grateful to him. I wi now have something to fry and eat with pap.

When I took the potatoes back to the house, I kept them very safe and then i went to the house to go and bath. After I finished bathing, I brushed my mouth and I rested my eyes so that I can come to steemit.
