Assalamu Alaikum, I begin my today's program by wishing everyone good health. I came up with this post today to participate in a contest. We face various types of problems in our real life, electricity problem is one of the biggest problems. Especially load shedding and high electricity prices always make us suffer. If we all use electricity efficiently, our load shedding will be reduced and we will be able to personally benefit from it. Moreover, when we use less electricity, we will have to pay less electricity bill each month, which will benefit us financially.

What are two electrical appliances in your home that use a lot of electricity? Explain with original pictures

Nowadays, each of us has a refrigerator in our home, and they operate 24 hours a day. To be honest, it's very difficult to live without refrigerators these days. We have to keep them running at all times so that our food doesn't spoil.

This washing machine is in everyone's home these days and is solving the problems of washing clothes. However, this machine consumes a lot of electricity while running, but it saves time and energy in washing our clothes.

What two methods do you use to reduce electricity consumption? Show at least one practical method with a selfie.

I always open my windows and close the curtains as soon as I wake up in the morning to reduce electricity usage. This lights up my entire house and eliminates the need for any additional electric lights. I keep my window curtains open from dawn until dusk, and this keeps my room lit and I don't need any extra electric lights. Also, if the weather is a little cold, I don't have to leave my friends and the nice weather outside keeps my house cool all the time. Overall, I save a lot of electricity during the day.

The interior decoration of our house is very beautiful and during the interior decoration, several lightings have been done here with different types of colorful lights. However, if we turn them on, our electricity bill will be high, so I have told everyone in the family to always keep them switched off because we will have to pay extra electricity bills due to the extra lighting.

Have the two methods you use to reduce electricity consumption resulted in a reduction in your electricity bill or not? Explain

To be honest, in the beginning, our house used to have a lot of electricity bills and we were quite annoyed by it. Then when we decided to reduce our electricity bill and adopted these two methods, it turned out that our electricity bill had reduced a lot. To be honest, we will use daylight as much as possible. To be honest, this has saved us a lot on our electricity bills and by keeping the doors and windows open, we don't have to run the fans, which has saved us electricity. We also turned off our AC and turned off extra lights at night and we have benefited immensely by not turning on a single extra light.

What is the easiest habit for you to save electricity?

Check and recheck your switches.

We often mistakenly leave the bathroom light on or the mobile charger switch on, causing the charger to stay on all night and wasting electricity. Also, if you forget to leave the bathroom light on, it will stay on all night and waste a lot of electricity, so I always tell myself to check and recheck your switch boards. You can prevent your electricity waste with this simple technique.

What advice would you give to others to save electricity so that they can reduce their electricity bill and save money?

I would like to tell everyone to use daylight as much as possible and keep doors and windows open so that outside light and air can enter the house. If you do this regularly, you won't have to turn on extra lights and you can keep the fan off.

There are many people who keep the TV on unnecessarily and increase their electricity bills, so I would say don't turn on your TV unnecessarily and turn it off as soon as you are done watching TV.

If the weather is bearable, turn off your AC and cover it with a cloth. When you turn off the AC, your excess electricity bill will be reduced and will remain at a tolerable level.

Check your electrical switchboards frequently to see if they are being turned on unnecessarily. We often leave our lights on by mistake, so we always need to keep an eye on them and keep the switches off.
Avoid turning on any electrical appliances unnecessarily. Sometimes we use too many electrical appliances to satisfy our needs, which is not right at all.
