The Diary Game - A Thursday Full of Blessings and Specialness
Good evening and happy greetings to all Steemians. How are you today? I hope everyone is in good health and always under the protection of Allah SWT, allowing them to carry out all their activities well. Alhamdulillah, I am back to share a series of activities on this happy day.
This Thursday morning, a very special day for Muslims, I began my activities upon waking from a sound sleep. When I heard the call to prayer (adhan) from the mosque loudspeaker, I immediately got out of bed. I walked to the bathroom to clean myself and perform ablution. I exited the bathroom and prepared myself for the obligatory morning prayer in congregation. But first, I tried to perform the sunnah prayer (sunnah fajr) or the morning prayer (qabliyah) of two rak'ahs at home. Until I heard the muezzin calling out the iqamah, signaling the imminent start of the morning prayer in congregation.
I headed out of the yard to the Babul Huda Mosque to fulfill the most important obligation for Muslims. After congregational prayer, I briefly engaged in prayer and dhikr (remembrance of Allah) led by the imam for the morning prayer. Afterward, I left the mosque grounds and spent some time doing some light exercise. When I arrived home, I lay down again with Raffa, who was still fast asleep. While waiting for my son to wake up, I took advantage of the time by grabbing my smartphone. I updated myself with the latest information from various online media outlets. Today's sophisticated digital technology makes it easy for anyone to find out the latest news in a matter of seconds.
Around 7 a.m., Raffa woke up, and his caregiver immediately prepared everything he needed. Then, when it was past 8 a.m., I took him to the daycare center at a foundation near the Meunasah Mesjid, Cunda. After dropping Raffa off, I stopped briefly at the Syekh Nyak Legend Kupi restaurant, which was not far from the daycare center. It was a sunny Thursday, and I hadn't had any teaching appointments since the beginning of the semester. I can relax and enjoy my time at my favorite coffee shop, sipping on a strong black coffee. I also try to stay productive by opening a Steemit account to finish a post on the platform, which can generate income.
An hour passed after paying my IDR 5,000 bill, equivalent to 4.94 Steem, and I left Syekh Kupi. I headed straight to my assignment, even though I wasn't scheduled to teach in class. At the school I've been at for almost twenty years, I've been relaxing and completing some assignments. As Dhuhr prayer approached, I left the school grounds and stopped at the Al Mabrur Mosque to perform the Dhuhr prayer in congregation. After the prayer, I immediately picked up Raffa and headed to his nanny's house to attend an invitation. Raffa's nanny was having a wedding, and I hope her family is well.
