The Diary Game - February 12, 2026: I'm Off Teaching Every Thursday

Hello, good morning and happy greetings to all Steemians, wherever you are. How are you today? I hope you are all in good health and always under the protection of Allah SWT, allowing you to carry out all your activities well. Alhamdulillah, I am back to share various activities on this happy day.

Every Thursday for the even semester of this school year, I don't have a teaching schedule. Therefore, I can relax and don't have to make time to go to my beloved school every Thursday. For Muslims, Thursday is a special day, when human deeds are raised before Allah SWT. According to an authentic hadith, the gates of heaven are also opened on the fifth day of the Hijri calendar. All Muslims are strongly encouraged to increase their acts of worship and perform sunnah (sunnah) practices, such as fasting, reading the Quran, increasing dhikr (remembrance of God), seeking forgiveness (istighfar), and giving alms.

Alhamdulillah, Thursday morning, the weather was sunny and there was no sign of clouds or rain. I woke up as usual when the call to prayer sounded, signaling the arrival of dawn. I immediately prepared to head to the Babul Huda Panggoi Mosque to fulfill this most important obligation for Muslims. Congregational prayer, especially at dawn, is so beneficial for those unable to perform it. After the dawn prayer, I used my free time before leaving for work to do various routine chores around the house. Although I didn't have a scheduled teaching schedule on Thursday, I still went to school.

However, I left later than usual and didn't have to rush. I could accompany Raffa at home first because I wasn't tied to a teaching schedule. After breakfast and warming up the car engine, it was almost 9 a.m. when I left the house. I took Raffa to the nursery at the Nurul Iman Meunasah Mosque Foundation. After dropping Raffa off, I stopped at my favorite coffee shop near the meunasah mosque, which wasn't far from the school. I was able to relax a little longer at the Syekh Nyak Legend Kupi coffee shop while enjoying a cup of black coffee. I took advantage of this free time to update some of the latest information and open the Steemit page.

Even though the current conditions are less than favorable, I remain committed to writing. I try to stay productive by writing one or two posts daily on the platform. After about an hour at Syekh Kupi, I left after paying my bill. I briefly headed to school to finish some assignments. But I mostly relaxed with my colleagues who happened to be off-campus. It wasn't until midday that I left the school grounds when the call to prayer sounded. I headed to the Al Mabrur Mosque to perform the Dhuhr prayer in congregation. After the prayer, I picked up Raffa and took him straight home. In the afternoon we went to the office where my wife worked in Lhoksukon to take attendance.
