A Visit To Our Village Vegetable Garden

Assalamoaliakum Everyone. I hope all of you are doing well.

Today, after finishing my household chores I visited our vegetables garden. The weather was good. It was a sunny day. So, I decided to visit our garden to see my mother's hard work. All of the vegetables are because of her efforts. She takes care of them, removes weeds and waters them properly.

I belong to a village. Most village people prefer and grow seasonal vegetables at their homes, because they are more fresh and organic compared to the market. My city friends often tell me that how lucky I am to live in a village and eat fresh vegetables 🫢. And they often ask for photos of the vegetables & they love seeing them.

Visiting our garden and seeing fresh vegetable plants felt so refreshing .I captured some photos there which I am going to share with you all.

These are carrot plants. They were looking so refreshing. I pulled out a carrot & ate it . As you all know one of the biggest health benefits of carrots is that they are good for eyesight.

Carrot was sweet and tasty. Although I don't like the carrots that we buy from the market, because often they are tasteless but that one was different.

Lettuce plants were also looking fresh & beautiful. We eat them frequently. Sometimes I use them in salad, sometimes while making burgers & even my mother chops them and adds them to onion fritters for extra crunch and taste.

I also saw radish & turnip plants there. Some radishes were almost ready to eat .

I was feeling so good after visiting our garden. Seeing nature always refreshes mind and mood.
