The Diary Game: Sunday Well Spent With Family, Gratitude And Togetherness(11-01-2026)

Hello my @steemit family, How are you all doing? I am @imaken and here's my sunday's engagements. You all know that Sunday is a day I don't joke with as it's my favorite day of the week. There are two reasons I love Sunday, first reason is it's a day I go to church to thank God and secondly because it's a day I get to bond well with my family through outings and spending time together so when I woke up yesterday, I got prepared for church service and by 9am, I was on my way to church with my family.

We got to church and met a long queue, I could only imagine the full house we'll have in church as I wasn't in church yet. My husband parked last on the queue but I believed that more people were still coming so he might not entirely be the last person on the queue. I stepped down from the car with my kids and husband and we all walked into the church auditorium. You should see the surprise on my face when I got into church and saw this crowd, if this is second Sunday of the year then I doubt if there was space to put foot on first Sunday.

In the afternoon after church service had dismissed, we went back home where I made lunch and we all ate and took our rest. We didn't sleep, we just stayed in the parlour watching movie under the cool AC and by 4pm. I got my kids dressed so we could go out and have fun. Both I and my husband wanted to give them a treat knowing that school will be resuming tomorrow and we won't have the chance to be going on outing again weekly so we wanted them to have all the fun they could think of. They were set and ready for the outing but what's an outing without a picture?

We got to the eatery and spent time playing games with the kids, this time we were with them in the play ground and finally got to sit together and take a bottle of malt and popcorn together before we went on shopping for back to school items for them. We got home and I first made tea for my daughter who was already asleep before we got to the house, I wanted her to have something in her stomach before she goes to bed.

My husband didn't want only tea for dinner so I decided to fry about five plantains so we could pair it with tea and bread for dinner as I was unable to make any heavy duty meal. I finished, ate and took my bath before going to bed to have my rest and prepare for the task ahead.
