The Diary Game: The Day Water Almost Made Me Cry(06:04:2026)

I would say that the most hectic chore for me is going out to fetch water. It has always been a hectic one for me since I started school and living in this compound. I was told the water pump would be fixed when I packed in but I don't know what the Landlord is saying right now. I am just so tired of it. I went to go fetch water this morning and I almost cried because of the distance.

When I fetched the first one, I rested and went for the second rubber and then, that was how I fetched water four times today. It felt good at first and right now, I am just thinking of what to do to help me cope with the way I use water. Since we have water back at home, I just use it anyhow and I don't even know that this is what people do go through everyday just to get water. School life is just teaching me a whole lot of things.

When I finished, you know, today is holiday because of the Easter celebration, I didn't go to school. I took my bath and then I went outside for the sun to kiss my skin. You know that glow when the sun kiss you after you finished applying cream on yourself? That's just the glow you need to see to make your day and your favourite girlie got kissed by the sun. When I went inside, I ate the little bread that was at home because I wanted to cook something maybe later in the day but not in the morning. The whole area was too dry for me to start pounding mortar and pestle. After eating, I was just going through some funny reels on Facebook.

I got so tired at some point and then I went to go and sleep. I slept right till afternoon was already packing it load. When I woke up, I took some money with me to go to the shop that's closed to my house to go and buy food items so I could come and cook. Evening was approaching and I needed to start preparing dinner.

When I bought the food items, I came back home and to cook was now going to be another issue. I left the items in the kitchen and went inside the bedroom and I was just going through my news feed. Before I knew what happened, time had already gone and I rushed back to the kitchen to prepare dinner.

Time is really not waiting for anyone. I went and then I started preparing the rice, I was hungry as well because after I ate the small bread in the house, I didn't eat anything again. So, I prepared the food and when it was done, I dished into a plate and then I ate it for dinner.
