The Diary Game: The Artwork That Got My Attention And Running Work Errands (17|12|2025)

This morning, when I wanted to step out to go for work, on my way because I was trekking to work, I saw these beautiful arts on the wall and then I decided to go have a clearer look at them. They were really astonishing. They depict the Ibibio, Annang and Oro culture in Akwa Ibom State. I took a picture of them before I left to continue my journey to work.

When I left there, I went straight to work but I was almost tired trekking to work. As I got to work, I decided to pour water on my head first before I make a move. As I poured water on my head, I went in and began to attend to customers who were calling the receptionist and honestly, it was going to be a very long day at work.

As I was working, I went to the kitchen to know what they prepared so I could eat because I never ate before.coming to work, they told me that it was only melon soup that they made for the time being, pending when customer will demand for something else. I was so hungry and secondly, I do not eat melon soup especially for breakfast.

So, I went to the shop that is closed to our work place and then I bought pepsi and bread then I came back to the office and stayed at the reception to eat. It wasn't what I actually planned to eat for my breakfast which was even approaching lunch time. After eating, I trashed them properly and then I continued with my work.

While I was working, my boss called and asked me if I was busy, I told him I wasn't really busy, so he asked me to go to the new site and check if those guys he paid to pack his blocks one place had done so, I waited till he sent me transport fare then I went there and then I got to see that those guys had done their job, so I called him and told him they had done it and even sent him a picture.

When I came back to the office, I went to the pool side and cleaned the place, that was going to be the last thing on my plate before going back to the house. So after I cleaned the pool side and changed the pool water, I went to the staff quarters to rest so that when I wake up, I will stroll back to my house.

When I came back to the house after waking up from there, I took my bath and then I went to go and have fun with my friends. Since last week, I haven't seen them so we could play game, December work is really hiding everyone.

When I came back to the house, My landlord was outside so he asked to show me something, I followed him and he showed me the plantain at his backyard and told me to pay money for it that he will look after the plantain till it is matured to be harvested, I then went there and checked it them I paid him some money. The plantain is now legally mine.

When I got inside my house, I switched on my television and was just watching the national news but I wasn't comfortable with the things I saw and heard in the news, so I had to switch the television off and began to share my diary.
