SLC-S28/W1|| "making skatch and painting on sketch book "||
Peace be upon you friends!
Watercolors always feel soft, charming and natural, and this attraction draws me to watercolor painting.
Today's pick — colorful flowers
The colors of nature always make the heart happy. In this spirit I decided to make a flower bunch this week consisting of three large flowers and a few smaller ones.
I made a sketch of it with a light pencil, then filled it with water colors and made a complete painting.
The Material I used
Sketchbook (thick paper, water color friendly)
Water colors
Soft Paint Brushes (Round & Flat)
Black Fineliner (for the final outline)
Pencil
Eraser
A cup of water
Tissue / Cloth
How to create Sketch
First I made three large hibiscus-like flowers:
A blue flower
A purple flower
A pink flower
Then I circled them:
Leaves of different sizes, Small flowers, Fine branches and soft curves.
After the sketch was completed, the extra lines were erased with a light hand to make the watercolor look clean.
Water Color Painting – Step by Step
Light colored base first
Water colors are always started with a light wash.
So I painted a very light color on the three large flowers:
Sky blue on blue flower, Light violet wash on purple flower, Light pink wash on pink flower and Allow the base color to dry.
Depth and Shades in the second layer
After the base dried I applied a second layer deeper so that: Make shadows in the petals
Look for layered colors
May life be born in flowers
Put a deep blue shade on the blue flower,
Deep violet on purple flower,
And gave soft magenta touches on the pink flower.
The leaves are green in color, but I used two methods, Wet-on-wet technique, Light green wash first, On top of it, the leaves from Gharas became a beautiful blend. Dry brush technique, Finally, with a dry brush, finer leaves and edges are defined so that the texture is visible.
Final Touch
When the painting was completely dry I:
Light outline of flowers
Veins of leaves
and thin branches
Draw with a very soft hand with black fineliner.
This brought life to the painting and made every color stand out.
The final look
My watercolor painting finally came out in a natural, soft and beautiful form.
The combination of colors, soft edges, and light shimmer of the water made these flowers very attractive.
My experience
Working with watercolors is always a new experience.
Colors can also run and dry quickly, so, Water balance, Correct use of brushes, And layering colors
The most important things were
I enjoyed the wet-on-wet technique the most.
The gradual blending of colors within the leaves looks very beautiful.
Having trouble finding the equipment?
No, I already had all my watercolor supplies.
The sketchbook should be water resistant otherwise the paper swells.
