Alhamdulillah! I Got Selected in Pakistan Airports Authority

Hello everyone!

Today I am here to share a great day of my life but full of struggles. I am happy to share that last year I applied for the job in the Pakistan Airports Authority and now after all the screening tests, physics fitness, and interview I have been selected for the training of the post.

I was in Lahore and I got information that today the selected candidates will receive provisional selection email. I was checking the email inbox again and again.

I did a lot of wait but curiosity was increasing and I was not receiving the email yet. Then one of my friends who is already working as an Aerodrome Firefighter in Pakistan Airports Authority, told me to call the HR department to know if your name is in the list.

So I did the same. I started calling on the given number. The line was busy because many candidates were calling to them. After a few tries my call was picked up. I was very nervous to ask about my name because there was fear of not having my name in the list.

So at first I asked them whether they have sent emails to the selected students of my region or not. They attendant asked from me the my name. I told him Muhammad Faisal and meanwhile I was praying hardly because I only wanted to listen to yes.

After getting name he asked about the father name. I started seeing the name in the list. He asked me to confirm the name Faisal I said yes. Then he replied that your name is in the list of selected candidates.

OMG I was unable to believe. I asked him are you saying true or just giving me courage. He said yes I am telling you the truth and your name is in the list. My hands were shivering and after listening to this news I became very happy. He told me that you will get the detailed email soon.

Now I started waiting for the email anxiously. I was also checking in the group to remain updated about the emails. I asked from the candidates if any of them has received the email. One person from my group received the email. On the same time when I checked my email there was nothing.

I became worried that why I have not received any email. I was continuously praying and did some charity as well. I got off the bus and started waiting for the other bus. On the bus bay I checked my email inbox again. And alhamdulillah finally after a lot struggle and wait the email was there. You can see the email screenshot above. It was really a happy news. I called to my home my elder brother and told them about this happy news. Everyone became happy and they appreciated me.

Now I had two options one to go back to home and start preparing for the medical and the second was to go to the hostel and continue previous job and to take the luggage back to home. I had some of my luggage in the hostel like dresses and shoes. So I went to the hostel but I did not join the duty but took rest there. I collected and packed my luggage and then I ate food and after that I visited my place of job and told everyone about my selection.

Later on I came back to hostel and slept untill the next morning and then early in the morning I started my journey back to home. I got the help of a colleague and I reached the nearest bus stop and in this way I started my way back to home and to prepare for the medical.
